Been to Iowa many times. Even married an Iowa girl. I think Iowa is a great place with, overall, very welcoming people. Would love to attend a game there.

No, no. You're looking at it all wrong. This has serious thread-of-the-week potential. I haven't seen a thread with this much early potential since NYC Banker, or whatever his name was, was posting.
I didnt like Penn State much either, but that was one school. For some reason the conference abandoned its Midwestern Roots to whore itself for cable tv money. The funny part is, in 20-30 years that model will be gone. The cords will be cut. I am not going to be a hypocrite and support that.
I still go to Iowa games, i just get secondary market tickets...often at a reduced cost.
I'll give Iowa this. It seems every chick I have met out here from that state is pretty hot. Beyond that, I am not sure I need to know much more about it.
Well let's say goodbye to our friend from Iowa. Funny thing is is that he was banned by John a year and a half ago for starting the exact same thread.
Now that you bring it up... Rutgers has a lot more in common with Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State than Iowa does. Maybe all the schools west of Michigan should split off and create their own conference.
I will be going to Iowa City for the game next year. Looking forward to sampling some of the local calzones

We had a great time in Nebraska, very hospitable people. I can see why they get over 100K fans and sell out...not much else to do in Lincoln. Wouldn't live there but would visit again for a game (why else would I go).

Not sure why you think we want to be in a conference with Iowa. Some of the other teams sure.
