Do you know what an allocation is? It’s a plan to spend, not an actual spend. We already know $3M has been allocated to basketball. They can allocate however much they want. They can’t pay a player $1 in revshare until the settlement is finalized.

I was specifically told otherwise, actually, that because of the demand for seats in general, and 100's, they TOOK AWAY 100 level seats from non-season-ticketholder allocations. I was specifically told that by a Senior person in the football program, who had helped me get tickets 100-level tickets for the 2023-24 season, out of the football program's allocation, but had those and many other 100 level seats taken away from them ... and that even the AD and the Presidential allocations had been taken away or substantially reduced.

However, I did talk to the ticket office, to my rep, today. I was told they would start to massage the allocations of season tickets "after the holiday), meaning after Memorial Day weekend ... in that week or the week after. Without any real specifics, it was implied there were some 100 level seats that had been given up ... we shall see if I get any of those (I have requested an upgrade from 200 level to 100 level).

After the fact, I would guess that someone will eventually tell me how many 100 level seats actually opened up/were given up. Of course, if some 100 level seats ARE given up, the programs and administration seats that had been taken away will likely be provided again - reducing what may be available for people like myself trying to upgrade.
