A Healthy Dylan Will Spark A Run

same thing vs Ohio State, Princeton, Kennesaw and the 2 vegas losses with Dylan (which I didnt expect to win anyhow)

Rutgers has beaten one team all year that is decent.,,Penn State And about injuries, Notre Dame lost a very pivotal player at the start of that game that RU hung on to win in OT

The 4 Big 10 losses were not close, Ru may have got to 5-6 vs Purdue, Wisconsin, Indiana but the outcomes were never in doubt

you really are going out of your way to excuse everything in the win loss column while rallying what could have beens

How lucky is Kyle Flood?

I just quoted a bunch of posts to bring attention to 2010. People conveniently forget that in 2010, KC decided to completely change the offense from a pro-set (which we had used up until then) to a spread style. And it failed miserably because we didn't have the personnel to run it. The primary area was the OL, as all of the starting offensive linemen had been recruited for, and trained for, playing in a pro-set. @yesrutgers01 can probably corroborate me on this, but it was just a horrible decision to think you can throw a switch and now everyone is going to play differently. Especially with the OL, which more than any position group has to play as a unit.
Choosing that year, with our best QB recruit of all time coming off a freshman AA season, to switch to the spread has to be the dumbest decision in RU FB history. Maybe only eclipsed by not moving to the original Big East in the 70s.

NIL killed college hoops its now professional hoops

does anyone else realize that they will also be paying FORMER athletes as well dating back to 2016..totally absurd

Who gets a piece of the $2.78 billion in damages?

Along with the future payments to athletes, the NCAA has agreed to compensate former athletes for the money they might have otherwise made during their career. All athletes who played Division I sports from 2016 through the present are eligible to receive some of that money. The 2016 cutoff date is due to the statute of limitations on antitrust claims.

Football and men's basketball players from power conference schools will be eligible to get an average of $135,000, Berman said. Women's basketball players from power conferences could receive an average of $35,000. The likely payout for athletes from other sports will depend on how many enter claims.

For some, payouts will also be based in part on the athlete's potential earning power had they been able to sign NIL deals while in school. Berman said the highest individual estimated payout for one athlete will be $1.8 million.
Can confirm this is true. Little bro might be getting a massive payday (which selfishly I hope he gets).

A Healthy Dylan Will Spark A Run

what did Ace do in the last two games. He had an incredible game at Indiana and RU still wasnt close to winning.
Use your common sense . Bailey went for 39 and Dylan wasn’t there for his 20 + and even if ACE goes for a little less he was hitting his shots and instead of zero from the supporting cast , Dylan points would have been the difference between a win and a loss. We got it to 58-52 so not sure what you mean it wasn’t close. You cannot just look at the final score and not realize that not having Dylan at those critical stages wouldn’t make a difference.
As bad as we started against Wisconsin and as rough a shooting night AcE had , we had in under 10 in the second half without Dylan. Another game that could have been different
Then Purdue we got it to 5, 46-41 , and they closed on a 22-9 run . Again we don’t have Dylan ‘s points and his ability to make a difference in the game.

OT: Dry January

Yup yup, I’ve started to implement stairs and more hill climbing as well. It’s so good for your heart

I gave up drinking in 2016 after my alcoholic uncle died of heart failure at 53 and was the 4th heavy drinker in my family to die under 60 years old. I sometimes miss the occasional brew but between that and becoming a father that year I just kinda never looked back on the booze.
Consider taking up hiking. Good for you in so many ways. Alone or with a group.

OT: Dry January

Not harsh at all, comparing something that causes 500+ deaths PER DAY in this country alone to something that has ZERO deaths on record and PROVEN medical benefits is absurd.

The fact that we have old farts who still are worried about ‘reafer madness’ is absurd these days, and yea, I’ll tell them ‘shut up b*tch’ In my best Dwayne Johnson voice while taking a puff of my ganj.

I’m also someone who gave up drinking years ago and knows first how how much alcohol can destroy one’s life. Cannabis is an entirely different conversation.
I’m about 20 years we will see the same studies showing you are wrong.
