simple question and don’t factor in the money - do you think pike is happy to see him go?

If we were even an average shooting team we win this game. Don’t think I’ve seen a team miss that many looks on the doorstep with hands free. We don’t get enough looks and when we do we don’t finish nearly at a high enough rate. We also take too many low percentage shots because we take possessions too late into the play clock.

I just saw Xfinity will drop the Yes network. Truth to this and if so wtf?

Rutgers can’t shoot. Period. That’s the difference in this game. We consistently miss looks inside 10 yards with hands free. D1 players don’t miss those. OSU certainly didn’t.

I don’t know if the numbers in this post are perfectly accurate but I think that conceptually the point is correct. Pikiel will be outspent but should have enough money to get some of the players he wants. Centers and high scoring players will likely be the most expensive. Top defensive players are unlikely to demand as much as the players that fill up the offensive stats. Pikiel will need to look for players that can contribute immediately since teams now are really only built one year at a time. Time will tell if he can transition into a one year at a time coach, but if he’s going to be successful he will need to build with a couple of star players he can get within his budget along with some underrated players that can fit within his defensive system.

I don’t get going empty net down 2 with 1:45. Get a stop there and a quick goal gets us within 1 with 1:30 left and you’ve got a shot. Down 3 with under 2 mins tough to overcome.

Observation from the game. Rutgers is athletic but tOSU has DUDES. They are clearly bigger and just as fast. Very skilled.

Tasty tie difference but too many u forced errors by RU. RU D is legit.
