Church of Chop Saturday Sermon - RU v Virginia Tech 9.21.24

Let us all pray as we prepare for the Church of Chop as our Lord and Savior Greg Schiano and his Knights take on the Hokies of Virginia Tech. After two resounding victories and a restful bye week, our Knights travel southward to face a former big east fowl foe of old. We fight to continue our winning streak and our Holy Crusade for Glory… and we shall have no fear.

Let Monangai the Mighty pummel their pouncing poultry. Let King Kaliakmanis soar the football past their flanking feathers. Let Loyal the Lionheart and Desmond “The Duke” Igbinosun gobble up their wild wicked wings. And let the Loaded Leg of Pistol Patel fire the pigskin through the Holy Uprights.

And let us not forget the one and only commandment… “THOU. SHALT. CHOP!”

anyone have schiano postgame speech from 2006 at USF?

looking for the video, think they showed it on college gameday, where schiano goes "this was another deposit in the bank" "we learned AGAIN how to win on the road, come back, down at half, and that's the stuff that champions are made of"

i get chills thinking about it and want to watch it to get pumped for tomorrow.

We need a series with WVU!!!

Love that we are playing old big east rivals the last few years (and crushing them). Would now love a series with WVU. The interaction with their fan base were the best and this was the one team that Greg and RU couldn't ever beat.

Would be great payback for Greg and many of our alum and we owe them especially for 2006 and 2011 and 80-7 in 2001.

Let's get it done. We would beat them now.

OT: frustrated by post with links but no opinion to go with it

I’m sorry- but non stop posts- even if they are a moderator who used to crush other posters with a bot 1 rating..,posting new threads with just links and no opinion is lazy and frustrating.
Notice they also do it non stop in the middle of other threads as well.

BTW- I am ok with links but please, don’t be so damn lazy. Are you afraid to give your opinion? Or maybe even a summary.,,

I don’t know why it just set me off today…but I have a gut feeling, I am not alone. And most likely, older posters that remember thread ratings are on the same page as me.
