Why does the big ten keep failing in march?

Had this discussion with some big east friends this week and they brought up some interesting points and curious to hear your opinions.

Their main premise was that the big ten conference as a whole is very long, big, tough and physical teams. And if youre not long big tough and physical youll get bullied in conference play. However once you get to march its more quick, fast and teams that play with pace.

Their points kinda made sense to me. What do you think?

Realistic ceiling for RU football...what is your opinion?

I am curious about other's opinions of a realistic ceiling for RU football. What would make you happy? 8 wins and a bowl game on a consistent basis, must challenge for conference title perennially, <gulp> getting into the playoff? Not posting this as a poll because I don't want to limit the responses.

I'll keep my opinion to myself for now but just wanted to understand how others are thinking about it!

FB Recruiting Interesting visitor on Sunday...

As I mentioned in other threads, there were two transfer visitors on campus on Sunday as Ole Miss DT Isaiah Iton (now committed) was with the staff during the Rutgers Basketball game and the other visitor who is a potential preferred walk-on was Brown University Lacrosse player Trevor Yeboah-Kodie. Yes you read that right a lacrosse midfielder wants to play for the football program.

Now this isn't the craziest thing in the world as there are several connections here, Trevor's father (Phillip Yeboah-Kodie) played for Greg during his time at Penn State. Also Trevor was the 2018 New York Football Gatorade Player of the Year honoring the state's top player every year. So he does have a solid background in football, however he was also a top 10 ranked lacrosse recruit, so he decided to go that route instead.

Yeboah-Kodie is listed as a 6-foot, 205-pound midfielder for the Brown Bears. There is no word on if he is leaning towards committing to Rutgers just yet or not, but it does make for a great story. He will have one year of eligibility left.
