In a game we lost by 6 that our coach also made the decision that with 1:30 in the first half and 3 Timeouts that we were ok to go into halftime down a TD rather than attempt to steal some points before the half…

I get criticized like crazy on this board for calling out Greg Schiano… Ya’ll starting to realize it yet? We should be a 6 win team right now, we lost 2 games this year SOLELY because of coaching. The players are playing their guts out, we have talent. They are unfortunately being led by the blind…. Time to wake up and realize Greg Schiano is holding this team back.

We need to get as many Rutgers fans up there as possible. Temple is an early season OOC game that we really need. Its a decent ride to CT, but its a 5pm tip off and you can drive home after the game and be there for the football game on Saturday. Im going up Thursday and staying over but you can make it a day trip.

If we want to dance, this is one of those games that could push us over the top!

It’s a serious question. Gleeson was fired because he was a terrible OC in way over his head at this level and did nothing to develop any QB on our team in 3 years as a “QB coach”. Nunz steps in - again- for the team but even a simplified O is horrible. I get he doesn’t have much to work with but can any coach get away with what we are seeing on this level. Plus, as TE coach are crew is just awful. Zero production for three years. I think we can def do much better. Plus he doesn’t recruit anyone. We know at this level recruiting falls on the assistants.

Looks like there were a few words exchanged between the two during the handshake after the game. I think Tucker took exception to the Rutgers defense trying to go after the ball at the end of the game while MSU was in the victory formation, like Tom Coughlin did when Schiano was in Tampa. I honestly don’t have a major problem with it, but we did do it a second time with only two seconds left. Not necessary in that situation

So a buddy of mine was telling me that a guy who was one of the refs of his men's league game was talking with him and told him his brother plays for Roselle Catholic, he then said yea he is going to duke next year.

His Brother is McKenzie Mgbacko (however it is spelled).

He told my buddy that when his brother went down to duke they wanted him to commit right away and secure him before he went home. Naturally the kid said give me a few days to think about things and process it before just deciding after a visit.

The next day he said Mckenzie got a call from a Nike Exec asking about the visit, how it went and all that.

So not only are we recruiting against some of the best schools and programs but we gotta beat out the shoe company's as well.

He has been phenomenal this year as a transfer QB.

Not one to complain about the refs, but a huge play that stood out to me.....

3rd Quarter, 10:28 left....... Michigan ball at the 27, 3rd and 8..... passing play right, Michigan receiver catches the ball right at about the first down marker, and the ref just gives them the first down.... why no measurement? Why even have measurment chains if you're not going to use them in that big spot in a very close call? Schiano was pissed and immediately got in the refs face about it to argue.... but obviously nothing could be changed at that point. To me, this was a MASSIVE momentum change in the game

I should not have gone back and forth with some of you. My father-in-law in the hospital and my wife not handling it well. Really was hoping to see a win and let my emotions get to me. Bottom line we can all have differing opinions. In the end we all bleed Scarlet and only want what is best for the team. I should have toned it down and did not. Again I apologize and will gladly share a beer with all at the next tailgate.
