You can watch all season and you won't find a stranger back to back than Colorado losing to Grambling and beating up on Tennessee at Tennessee today. Now min you,Barnes can't coach, but still. Wright played well. Gabbidon from Yale was a ball hawk. I love that kid. He started what will be a million dollar business out of his dorm room at Yale.Yes,Rutgers is better off with Spencer than Wright because he will be a 2-year player. But we will see how good Llewellyn is by January. As he goes, Michigan goes. Just like when Mike Smith was running the show there.

K J Simpson was fantastic for Colorado today- He would be a great Pike player. I think he had 10 rebounds as the point. Great game.

11/11 Colorado 74 @ Grambling 83
11/13 Arizona St 65 @ Texas Southern 66
11/15 Washington St @ Prairie View A&M ??
Pac12 is 0-2. They aren't the top teams but it is a future selling point for the SWAC.

Other early SWAC results,
11/11 Southern 78 @ Arizona 95
11/12 Alcorn St 66 @ Wichita St 57
Ark-Pine Bluff almost winning @TCU 72-73 and @Oklahoma 58-66

Texas Southern and Coppin St were the first that adapted playing these tougher non conference schedules from the SWAC and MEAC. Others, not all, have followed suit with tougher non conference slates to get their players confidence and skills up each year they play from freshman to senior year in Nov and Dec. Now, the first year that P6 teams are visiting their home floors. It is a very smart tactic for HBCUs, and looking at the results, it is paying off. They are getting better each year and landing higher level recruits using the selling points of playing against top teams from several top conferences.

In the same season (last season) we lost to Lafayette (on our home court no less) and then proceeded to make college basketball history as the first unranked team ever to beat FOUR top 25 teams in a row just a few months later. Sports are crazy and often very unpredictable.
