RU should scrapRAC renovations and move forward with Hobbs’ preferred plan of building a new arena. Then line up a new coach to start a program rebuild the season prior. New arena equals more corporate money equals better chance of new NIL. Hire Kevin Boyle and give him a year to rebuild the roster and bring a more offensive minded philosophy into a brand new arena and I think we’d be cooking. RU needs a rebrand at this point and we need to move away from the past. The program needs an injection of newness.

Besides having a great freshman year last year , today in a 25 point blowout of NC State he put up 29 points on 10-17 shooting with 19 rebounds. Wow !!! He is a 2 way player that would have helped our defense tremendously this year and would have great on offense as well. Damn shame. Hobbs left to be second fiddle to Damon Stoudamire just like he was here and went from the BIG 10 to the ACC. Don’t get it but it cost us big.

Its very early so there is going to be alot of wackiness though it is useful to see some trends especially with respect to schedule strentgh. There will certainly be some sort of ridiculous small school outlier in the top 30 and some major school languishing in the 200 range.

I think Oregon fans will be quite pleased

My Rutgers fandom only goes back to 1990 or so but I seriously don't remember a season that had this much hype end up being such a figurative disaster. Two projected NBA lottery picks and we're pretty much one of the worst teams in the B1G.

Fights their way back into the game with an amazing pressing defense when it seemed all hope was lost.
But still finds a way to lose.

After last seasons controversial ending that ended a great game, I'm sure tensions will be extremely high, hopefully not this high!
