This team stunk

Had to edit the title to past tense.

I have been reading a lot of excuses here. Time to stop.
It is time to wave the white flag. It is late January and we are now pinning our hopes on making the BTT and going on a historic run to make this season palatable…making the BTT , let that sink in.
Time to face reality. The Harper/Bailey led team is a bust of epic proportions. Jordan Dercack , of Merrmimack and Colonia lore, was Rutgers best player on the court at MSG in a marquee game.
This team stinks!

Article on RU QBs

My opinion
Kaliakmanis' completion percentage worries me , but he is the type of game manager Schiano likes and Athan passed for more yards than any RU QB did in 10 years. I just feel for Rutgers to have a winning season,AK must prove to be better than he was last season when it comes to accuracy . ( Though the recivers have to do thir part getting open and catching what he throws for him to look good)
Sheppard and Surace both need playing time, this season, to find out if they have a future in the program .
Incoming freshman Sean Ashenfelder might be someone who develops into Kaliakmanis' replacement if Ajani or AJ don't step up
>It is officially springtime, and spring training for the Rutgers football team is underway. In the first edition of Future of Rutgers football, The Daily Targum previews the 2025 quarterback room.<

Player You’d Pick To Emerge In The BTT

The Big Ten Tournament is one day away. I know it’s been a rough season, but we all still like to dream and hope for a magical run. I mean, we’ve had flashes of potential where I would say I wish we could play like this all the time.

So here’s my question…
If you had to pick one player to step up and be the difference maker in our BTT chances, who would it be, how would they do it, and why would they be the difference maker?

Would it be Ace popping off? Martini/Ogbole being the rim defender we’ve been needing? JWill being a reliable floor general? Grant being the second coming of Dennis Rodman? lol.

For me, it’d be Acuff being the consistent spot up 3-point shooter that we’ve always needed. Mainly because I think it’s entirely feasible, but we haven’t tapped into it enough. When we were blitzing Michigan in the first half of the second game, he was a critical part of that run. It was wild how on-point we were on offense. Somehow we got away from him in the second half. If we are to beat teams like Purdue, we absolutely need to keep pace in scoring and Tyson definitely has to play a part in that and open things up for Dylan and Ace.

OT: Big East Tournament

It’s time for your boy JayDog’s annual big east tournament thread.

Anybody going this year? If so, what sessions and which games are you looking forward to?

I’ll be at session one for the tripleheader, coworker is a big seton hall fan so it looks like we’ll have to stay the entire time to catch the Smurfs in the late game

Session to appears to be pretty up in the air with the 200+ dollar get in for St. John’s, might grab some seats for the second game at a discount.

Session 3 on Thursday night, we will also be there

Day drinking at the garden is a timeless tradition, looking forward to it
