I said Greg was stuck in old school football mode, but here we are seeing two straight weeks of aggressive offensive play.

I'm so happy to see us having fun on offense. We finally have slants and crossing routes to complement the out routes and curl backs. We no longer depend on running the ball on 2nd down after an incompletion. It's incredible to see!

Actually surprised they got this done so quickly, good for them; backed up the Brinks truck for him, 8 years, $72 million.

If we didn’t get the first down, AGAIN, the game may have turned out differently.

I think in this situation the play should be run and the unprepared referees could go to review to see if anything needed to be addressed. No way the offense should be zinged due to the officials not doing their job! Rule change!

One thing that drives me crazy about our downfield passing is the throws are almost always leading the receiver out of bounds making YAC nearly impossible on most throws. On the 30 yd pass Strong caught with his fingertips, he was led out of bounds and could have gained more yards and possibly broken it if the pass was leading him down the sideline instead of over it. On the deep TD to Miller, he was barely able to stay in bounds to get into the endzone. Athan also threw one deep pass completely out of bounds on Sat. This is obviously something that is being coached as it's been happening for 3 years now. I get it reduces the chance of an int, but when there's no safety help, why not trust your guy to either catch it or prevent the db from catching it. This strategy really reduces our explosive play potential. And we seem to be the only program doing it. How many deep shots did Maryland take? Quite a few - and none led the receiver out of bounds.

Yes, I know we just won a big game. But there's always room for improvement. 😃

Despite the losses to injury, I felt like AK had some of the best pass protection he has had all year. I haven’t rewatched the game but it seemed like he had a nice pocket for the most part. The OL coaching and overall performance continues to be outstanding even when we are going deep into the bench like today. Good sign for next year.

It's August 1st and It's time

The FS1 announcer was dreadful. He was the Flavor Flav of Maryland football. He was even calling the Maryland players by first name. When we got the interception, they had no reaction and sounded disappointed.

I will likely (95%) have a full season blue lot pass available and would like to offload the entire thing to one person. I will know for sure in August.

I think the big defensive improvement made during the 2nd bye had a lot of Schiano’s fingerprints on it. But being a smart leader he gave the credit to Harasimiak

Just need to add some pennants and magnets (can't find the new Big10/18 sets yet). Also needed a few more helmets.....
