The collapse has started earlier this season vs. last year

The injuries to our Starters and key players has unfortunately magnified much earlier this year vs. last season.
The 4 game losing streak last season was forgotten after great Bowl victory.
The last 2 games the Team looks totally unorganized and the play calling is mind boggling. Kirk seriously? AK is not the answer. Greg has no clue and his game day Coaching continues to be laughable. Add to this to the loss of many starters and a winning season looks doubtful after today. Getting to 6 wins and a Motor City Bowl even looks like a stretch right now.

What Rutgers Needs to do in the 2cd Half

The game day threat is a complete shit show, so hopefully this will be more productive and HOPEFULLY ages well

1. The last 2 drives seemed like the offensive line was finally geling and giving AK a bit more time. Wisconsin is defending very heavily against the run and we need to use their aggression against them with some counters, RPO and bouncing runs to the outside

2. More targets to Miller and Strong. Terrible first half for our tight ends and for Long. Strong is a reliable, big play guy and Ben Black should be able to get separation. Go over the middle of the field, these 4 yard passes to the sideline are not doing anything

3. Defense really improved in the 2cd quarter but I expect Wisky to take more shots downfield as they clearly missed a few opportunities. Loyal and Salam both getting burnt - need to turn around and look for the ball

4. DLine getting zero pressure on both runs and passes. Not sure if this can be fixed by blitzing more as they have already shown they can get behind our secondary for big plays

Any other thoughts - please try to keep this positive and constructive

Weather for WI @ RU: Simply Gorgeous - Cool Morning (~50F at 7 am) Warming into the 70s With Full Sunshine

This pattern, with high pressure being in control for most of the week, is just about a lock for a nice day for the WI game, but it's 7 days out so it's probably prudent to wait a day or two before going that far. At this point, it looks like morning lows in the mid/upper 40s, quickly warming up into the low/mid 70s by early afternoon with mostly sunny and dry conditions and comfortable humidity.

.LONG TERM /TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY/...
The region looks to be influenced by surface high pressure
through the duration of the long term. Surface high pressure
centered to our west Tuesday night will gradually move eastward
with time. Meanwhile, another bubble of high pressure centered
over the Great Lakes region Wednesday night/Thursday slowly
slides south/southeastwards with time for reinforcement.
Ultimately, surface high pressure continues to influence the
region while looking to be centered in the vicinity of the Ohio
River Valley for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

With surface high pressure in control, we are looking at a dry
forecast through the long term. Though some shortwave energy
could propagate through Tuesday night/Wednesday, some increase
in cloud cover will likely be all that occurs. Dry air advection
and prevailing NW flow will continue through much of the term.
It will certainly feel like autumn with low humidity and
temperatures forecast to be around average to slightly below
average.
