I’m looking at the statistics of the two quarterbacks in yesterday’s game and am absolutely dumbfounded as to how Thornes (68.8) is almost triple what Gavins (25.4) was yesterday despite the almost identical statistical comparison:

Thorn - 19/35, 256, 2, 0 (68.8)
Gavin - 20/236, 2, 0 (25.4)

…. Please someone make sense of this to me because I can’t figure it out to save my life.

I spoke to Sam Brown’s father. I was in line behind him at one of the food trucks. Very impressive gentleman, and incredibly positive. He seemed quite happy about his son’s choice to come here. Just one more reason to root for Sam Brown to have a an incredible career here.

I’m bringing pop to penn state game and walking too far is not an option. Red/Brown lot passes are insane. I know the Greek church is one option. Anyone know the deal with the houses? I think it is golf links Ave. We have to do something that gets us in and out from the south.

Nothing is easy

Given the increasing likelihood of extensive renovations to the RAC, I was curious what others thought about the proposed changes - maybe most notably moving the entrance to face the green lot. It's certainly more practical, but also made me question whether the administration is considering a phase 2, with the current front and rear pyramid walls being removed, if possible, for greater expansion? At roughly 8000 seats, the RAC occupancy is half that of most B1G arenas; not sure how much expansion is possible without losing the current atmosphere and acoustics? I also would love to see wholesale aesthetic changes to the exterior if/when there is a phase 2.

I saw that St. John's played tonight and was interested to see that both Mathis and Curbelo are playing extremely well. Small sample size, but the same could be said for Cam, Wolf, and Simpson. Would you trade and/or add any of the aforementioned 3 for *improved* Curbelo and Mathis? I guess it's plug and play vs player development...for both programs. Speaking of which, I hope that Pike is able to secure a starter quality 5 from the portal...after losing out on Fall, Kante, Chinyelu, and Dembele(?). The last two are particularly disappointing.
