Given all the problems with Baylor and accusations of sexual assault by athletes, did anyone have issues with the Baylor men's BB team rustling the hair of the female sideline reporter? I thought it was ill advised to say the least. I know they said they had done it to Frank Sager when they last made the Sweet 16. But, given the circumstances, it kind of rubbed me the wrong way.

It struck me this way, too. Yes, there was a context with Sager, but I thought that given what's been going on in Waco, and the reporter was a woman, it would've been advisable to pay tribute to Sager in some other way.

not to mention that Jacobsen was saying how it was a great tribute and she and Sager's daughter spoke out against people who tried to make it something else

and the Baylor basketball program has nothing to do with what happened with the football program...very unfair to put that on them

I don't remember reading the story about FB teammates killing each other?

Maybe I missed it.

Waco is whacko.

Wow! That is all. I swear we're being programmed to be so damn sensitive. I think we all hate Baylor at this point, but come on people.

Except past Baylor bball team has one teammate murder another and the coach trying to cover it up. Agree this incident by itself no big deal but given everything else not a good time to do it.

no...thats you bringing other stuff into...why are penalize these group of kids who were celebrating and honoring Sager. That Jacobsen sees nothing wrong with pretty much ends the discussion right there. Stop penalizing this group of Baylor kids...its the same stuff that people do to Penn State kids, they have nothing to do with the administration and quite frankly the stuff about murder is irrelevant to this group and what they did

The biggest problem I have here is we continue to look at everyone as male/female and black/white. Who cares that they messed with her hair? The coach explicitly said they did the same thing to Craig Sager.
