Shooting and not hitting anything is worse than not shooting at all. So far that's us and we also look a few steps slower.
this game is prime example of why our fans need to slow down about where we are as a program. We are nowhere near the NCAA with these particular players. They are going to give you alot of effort and heart but they are stinky shooters and some nights like this they will be exposed. Next year the goal should be 6 wins and getting to 500, anything more than that is gravy. We need players and we need them in a hurry for 2018 and 2019. Pike is a great coach but we need a huge talent infusion. Getting by against mediocre teams is one thing. Taking that leap to get into the top half of the league is going to require SHOOTERS

I really hate comments like this. The entire team looks exhausted. They can't even get up and down the court, can't rebound, and Northwestern is getting shots more wide-open then if they were practicing by themselves. Picking up Corey right now is just plain asinine. Sorry.
It's like what happened to St. John's today. Thriller vs. Georgetown last night, losing by 26 at the half and blown out by 50+ this afternoon. They shot their wad last night, had their moment and now it's done.
Is anyone plugging into the equation that we played an all-out game last night and NW didn't? This is ugly, but everything on offense and defense is about our tired legs.
