Tired legs. Big deal. Teams win back to back (and more) games consistently during this week of the season every single year.
ask TCU played Oklahoma last night and then this afternoon went out and knocked off the #1 team in the country

All the good will from last night wiped away with this. This hurts recruiting.
Shhh. You're not allowed to mention seating.Sea of blue behind Rutgers bench the only empty section in the lower section.
I wanted to get one game in tourney, just hope that they play hard in second half.
Our game is totally about effort and hustle. That's what produces offensive rebounds. Not unreasonable to think that we can't match last night's energy against a better team that is rested and motivated.ask TCU played Oklahoma last night and then this afternoon went out and knocked off the #1 team in the country
Good point -- it's been 1 game. These kids are young. If they make the semis we can talk about tired legs. We tend to project our old man physical stamina onto these young athletes who are in peak physical shape.ask TCU played Oklahoma last night and then this afternoon went out and knocked off the #1 team in the country

this was very similar to the Iowa game at the RAC where Iowa came in with a purpose and just blitzed us from the get go. Sometimes these games happen when you are playing a very good team. Its a NCAA team that came to play tonight with its A game and showing the country what they are made of. RU just never seem to have a chance...blitzed from the start, almost too passive
Agreed, 2nd half start will be key...Need a nice 6-0 run to get NW tight.18 points.. they can do this.. come out and score the 1st 5-6 in the 2nd half and NW might just pucker up.
Its a reach.. but that 2nd half start could be the whole ballgame.
What an amazing story that would be.. surviving a 31-0 run to win a game.. and possibly knock NW out of the tourney.
You gotta have heart
I didn't. I thought we'd lose by 18 because we'd be tired, mentally and physically. We don't have the depth or maturity to keep up the pace of a conference tourney yet.For all the peeps who are using the tired legs excuse why did u pick them to win?
yeah but its tough to blame being tired on the first 7-8 minutes of the game...its one thing in the 2nd half. I just think they were unprepared for Northwestern to bring the haymaker tonight

And for those who think playing a game last night when the other team didn't wouldn't make a difference, care to redefine physics and biology for us? You just sound like douches.
Alley oop slam ... You know it!Coach P is going to get RU pissed off and riled off to start the 2nd half ... Time for the best RU comeback in history.
Chris Collins is not about to take his foot off the gas in the second half.
I hope that we can settle down and run our offense more effectively the rest of the way.
It looked to me like our team panicked on the offensive end when the NW run got going.
Fans need to focus on what is needed to improve the team instead of looking for lame excuses such as tired legs.okay you can only use that excuse so much. RU allowed a 20-0 in the first 8 minutes, its not like this blowout happened in the 2nd half.
its an excuse, yes you can be tired but geez TCU played yesterday and went and beat Kansas, do not make it okay that they gave up a 31-0 run which it sounds like you are doing
