Cheapskates better not sell out again for PSU

Well I guess we know who Andy is everybody. LOL

you made it sound like you know the person - not the screename - who sold the tickets and the buyer sat next to you. So take it up with him.

If you don’t actually know who sold the tickets and where the seats were then stop accusing him of selling to an a-hole who sat next to you. For all you know the person who bought those tickets was a good guy. Maybe even a Michigan grad who bought the tickets to take his RU friend to the game.

I used an example of what someone did on here

And that is the jist of my complaint in the whole thread.

If you see what I posted above, I don’t really care about the Stub Hub or Ticket Board person. No real control on who is buying. It is what it is.

But to solicit on another team’s site where you are a member here and already know about the other options? Come on.

You’re cool with that?

No I have not.

My only complaint was when another poster brought it to our attention that someone, a regular on here - at least a name I am familiar with, sold on the Michigan version of this site.

Read my posts in the thread. I’ve pretty much laid out my thoughts on the whole matter. But I spell it out again for you:

If someone doesn’t have an issue with the above, then don’t complain about anything off the field. Because you’re condoning the problem.
The problem in your mind is one person, who is playing on your emotions. Gullible. I'm sure you got played. And again you ignore the real problem. There isn't enough season ticket holders or interest in Rutgers on NJ but let's keep blaming people who actually buy season tickets. This argument is beyond stupid by the complainers. Talk to RU and tell them to stop dumping tickets onto StubHub. Arguing with some selling 2 or 4 tickets is laughable and embarrassing on your part.

I couldn’t care less.

A 50,000 seat stadium and 21,000 season tickets and one person sells 2 tickets that weren’t near you on the Michigan board and you derailed this thread over it.

Have you seen the post some of us are talking about?

If that’s the case, of being played…so be it.

But again, the point remains the same… if you or anyone else is okay with that particular scenario, then I don’t know what else to say.

I don’t have that kind of power.

The scenario (whether true or not according to another poster 🙄) I am talking about shouldn’t be considered okay.

But apparently you do.

If I was the guy he thru the accusation at I wouldn’t be too happy. LOL

Maybe be got played like the rest of us.

How about this for a scenario?

My cousin is a PSU alumni. He bought me a ticket to Happy Valley last year for PSU-RU

Because of that, I told him he can have one of my tickets for next week at Rutgers.

Am i a horrible fan?

$100 to the charity of your choice if you can find a post from me stating my opinion about what the seller did.
My bad as I took this in bold as opinion…

I believe most of us don't have an opinion on Piscataway, one way or another.

Well if you’ve never been. Sure. Most have never been and since we don’t get much national coverage..agree most don’t really know.

I guess what I meant is most who have seen a game in Piscataway know it’s a pretty great environment

Some people like to stir the pot. You got played.
Regardless.

I just didn’t like the idea of someone doing that and voiced my opinion on that particular scenario.

The other ways to do it, not really an issue with me. And I gave my reasons which I think some of you already agreed with…those transactions you just don’t know.

No I don't know. Are you okay with a season ticket holder selling their tickets when they can't make a game?? The stupidity of @NotInRHouse thinking you could sell tickets on TKR or Facebook is hilarious

Again, I explained that already more than once.

I just didn’t like the idea of someone on here going to another site selling their seats that way.

That’s it.

You keep saying you explained it more then once but keep ignoring the fact that this isn't a season ticket holder issue. It's a Rutgers issue. I am completely tired of Rutgers fans like you complaining about people supporting the team by buying season tickets. Your example of one person playing you is stupid to get on soap box and call out every RU fan for selling tickets. Stop calling out fans and start calling Hobbs if selling to opposing fans is your issue. I guess you have an issue of Rutgers making money

That's not a sale. Even if everyone who could do it did do it, we wouldn't have what we had vs Michigan.

It is trying to make a buck by hurting the team and fellow fans that is the problem.

Yeah bro totally no one ever sold on the tickets board before lol.

I've given away tickets on this board before, and I am not rich by any stretch. I just want RU fans in the seats.

I’m always hoping the few times I’ve listed my tix that Rutgers fans buy Em. I know they have in the past…how is that “hurting the team”?

I've been. I liked it all right.

So you all turn that into everyone selling their tickets are "cheapskates, aholes, ..." because some anonymous person said it on a free board? Was it true or just a troll throwing gas on a fire??
First of all, I pay for premium so don’t pull the “free board troll” card, especially when you’re not paying anything to be here yourself (noticing a trend). If you were at the game instead of selling, you’d know it was true anyway.

Second, you’ve been pretty nasty in this thread due to your own defensiveness, so no need to play the victim so hard.

Third, you’re free to spend your money how you want. Saw a grandchild is due in January, congrats. Saw some others seem worried about their overall financials. In those cases, maybe it makes more sense to give up the seats. Don’t think anyone is arguing that. The issue is the systemic selling by a significant portion of the fan base that seems to expect a demand problem from the Rutgers side while simultaneously claiming there’s no way to guess who might be buying their tickets.

First of all was I talking about you about the free board??? No! Not at all. Not even close. So besides your dim witted view of Rutgers Season ticket holders you have a reading comprehension issue. I was talking about the person who trolled here saying he went to the Michigan Board to sell his tickets.
Again, you screaming at our own fan base crowd, don't understand this subject at all. Rutgers is the biggest sellers of single game tickets. Every season ticket holder cold sell their tickets and Rutgers puts more then that up for sale for every game. People complaining about the west side are clueless how little season tickets are sold over there in the lower level. Most slowly moved over the the east side to be on the home side.
Keep stamping your feet and calling other fans out. Doesn't make you a tough guy it makes you an idiot.

When you just keep calling everyone else in the thread stupid, idiot, moron, etc. it’s really just an indictment on your own argument or ability to effectively communicate with others. Talk about stamping your feet after the tantrum you’ve been throwing for 8 pages because you felt personally attacked by the OP.

Don’t know what you’re on about with the Michigan ticket sale being a troll either. The post is still there along with one from August trying to sell them previously. Maybe not shockingly, the tickets are right behind the Rutgers sideline. https://michigan.forums.rivals.com/threads/sold.344964/

So you admit it wasn't about you. At least some progress.
The problem, which you still don't understand, is you are lumping the entire fanbase who has ever sold a ticket into the same bucket.
Plus your first post and every post since ignores the fact that Rutgers sells the vast majority of single game tickets. In all sections. It's not even close. Yet your issue is about season ticket holders.

And you don’t admit anything, because you seem to have some sort of complex. Looking forward to the next conspiracy about trolls making up posts like the one I linked to, or no season ticket holders selling their seats because they wanted money.

I've admitted to season tickets holders selling to make money or break even. Again that's their business not yours. Someone sells their 2 seats, randomly through StubHub and Rutgers sells over 20,000 + tickets and your pissed off at the person that sells 2. Logic isn't your strong point.

But when we sell..we don’t know it’s hurting the team.

Against a team like Michigan in a season like this you're taking a deliberate risk.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Exactly my point. You had to give away the tickets on TKR.

I didn't have to do anything. I have never sold a ticket to any athletic event in my life.

If you buy RU tickets, and then sell to opposing fans barring a personal financial crisis, you're not a real fan.

And yes, if you put them on Stub Hub "and just don't know who it'll be sold to", there's no difference.

LOL at NIRH preaching to us about being a real RU fan.

You don't even live in NJ (thankfully for us). When was the last time you held season tickets?

I doubt you'd even buy to sell to opposing fans, would distract from being a troll. Worry about pickleball and riding a golf cart around the Villages.

My son recently applied to Rutgers

He received an email last week offering him a free ticket to the game (as did his friends that also applied to Rutgers)

Thought that was interesting given the popularity of the game
