Cheapskates better not sell out again for PSU

I didn't buy tickets in the last Ash year because I was angry he was not terminated. I am not arguing with people not buying. I am arguing with selling to opposing fans.
If they were directly searching out Michigan or Penn State fans to sell their tickets to than you might have a point. They are not choosing who buys them. If an opposing teams fans buy them that's on Rutgers for letting Flood stay too long and hiring Ash and keeping him after 2 years. The 2 of them absoultely imploded this program. Killed the fan base. Killed the interest.
The results would have been the same if those same people never bought and resold the tickets. Rutgers would have dumped them onto StubHub themselves.

As was pointed out earlier, someone did do that on the Michigan version of TKR.

And IMO those types deserve as much scorn as we can heap on them.

Personally I find doing so for college a little different than for NFL. I am a proud RU alum. I am not an alum of the Jets.
All good, but I’m telling you all schools do this too.

not a Rutgers fanbase issue.

go on stubhub and see how many tickets have been put on sale to other games.

So you all turn that into everyone selling their tickets are "cheapskates, aholes, ..." because some anonymous person said it on a free board? Was it true or just a troll throwing gas on a fire??

See, I don't care so much about Michigan fans being surrounded at home games by obnoxious OSU or Pedd State fans or Northwestern fans being surrounded at home games by jerkoff OSU or Pedd State fans . I'm feeling it though for fellow Rutgers fan put in that position by other RU fans...some of whom are well off enough that the extra money wouldn't put a crimp in their budgets.
I've actually sorta been in that position a few times, one in particular where a few of my buds were gonna make efforts to shut up some of the visitors. I think it was a Maryland game. where the clowns were just asking for it and my buds had enough of it and had enough refreshments at our tailgate to oblige them. It's so memorable because I was the peacemaker....and I'm not really the peacemaker type.
Same sorta thing nearly happened at a Notre Dame basketball game a number of years back. Rutgers won that one though, so the visitors pretty much shut up as it became more and more apparent that the Irish were gonna lose. And that my buds were a lot bigger than they were.

None of your excuses would matter to me if I was sitting at an RU home football game surrounded by jerkoff fans of the other team. Maybe if I thought you needed the money to pay your rent....maybe.
My sympathy to the poor souls that were put into that bad situation by another Rutgers fan's greed.
It is very entitled of you to try and dictate what another person does with their tickets. They are his and he spent the money. If he wants to sell them it shouldn’t matter to you.

I been to many games and 99% visiting fans are fine as long as you don’t take it personally. Some of best times I have had is interacting with other teams fans throughout the game.

I'm doing absolutely no "dictating", goober.

Yes you were. "Wouldn't put a crimp in their budgets" So people should just throw away money to make you feel good?? Forget if they can or can't afford it. It is none of your f-ing business. Do you want some anonymous jerk questioning your every purchase or return or lack of buying. I love how so many people are willing to reach into a strangers pockets, pull out their money and throw it away.
This is not a season ticket holder issue. It's a lack of people in NJ interested in Rutgers Football because they were god awful for another 10 years.

great post.

It’s a known name on here.

At least it was to me.

You really should look up the word "dictating". I have no power to dictate anything. And I'm never gonna reach in someone's pocket. That's not how I roll.
Also, I specifically focused in my post on those for whom $200 wouldn't put a crimp in their budget. And I gave a pass to those who needed the bucks to pay their rent.
I've read enough comments here from Rutgers fans who had to endure being surrounded by jerkoff fans of the visiting team that I said what I thought needed to be said. That made me feel good.
There are posters here who wouldn't sell their tickets to Pedd State fans. I respect that.
There are also those who wouldn't give two chits if they sold them to the visiting team's fans. I don't respect that.
And that's the limit of my "dictating".

Again if you use StubHub you are not picking who you sell to. How come you and the other complainers do not understand that? Too many on here, including you, keep saying anyone is or isn't selling to an opposing fan base. It's complete bullcrap.
So if different people sold tickets on StubHub and most were purchased by Rutgers fans and the others by Penn State fans you would only be pissed at those who's tickets were randomly purchased by Penn State fans?
And yes you are reaching into other people's pockets and STILL throwing their money away. You just repeated if they could afford it then they shouldn't sell. Bravo, you only want to steal from people that can afford it. 🙄 What is wrong with you?? It's none of your business why they are selling.

Do we not have a ticket sales board here? There's also a facebook group for it. It's not like anyone must sell, or must on Stub Hub.

So now you don't even want to sell tickets to any Rutgers fan but only to Rutgers fans on this board!! Brilliant. Keep typing. You become even less intelligent with every post. Talk about clueless.

LOL. Did I say it has to be on this board? Is Facebook this board?

No but you did bring it up stupid. Add Facebook. It's the same issue that you just can't figure out. Think about it before you respond. I doubt it will come to you but at least try to put some logical thought into it.

Andy and Bill both attend 3 or 4 games a year.

Andy buys season tickets. He isn’t on TKR and sells on stubhub the tickets that he can’t use.

Bill doesn’t purchase season tickets. He buys tickets on Stubhub.

Two different means to the same end.

I posted a PSU Tix for face and sold it to a Rutgers guy in 24 hours.
There are hardly any posted there but I bet SH is overloaded.

And to be fair. I bet over half the Tix on SH are listed by the school so they can announce another fake sell out.

Andy (who is on TKR) goes on BlueAndMaize to sell his tickets.

Bill buys those tickets, sits nexts to me and is an ass.

Two different guys who now I don’t like.

Exactly yet people are complaining about fellow fans not RU. And way more then 1/2 of them.

No I figured it out.

We have "fans" who "need" $200 rather than having RU fans in the stadium, until their next vacation or fancy new car or whatever.

And the proof they're going to opposing fans is what?

what are you talking about? There’s zero ways, as I’ve been saying for days in the thread, to find out who bought your tix.

youre all over the place, asking for photos, etc. what are you trying to say?!

LOL

Let me know if this is is slow enough

People who put their tickets on StubHub

With me still?

OK

Rather than knowingly selling to RU fans

Still here?

When they know a big opposing fanbase is coming to town...

Are not real fans.

And finally, my point was you don't have what you saw on the west side of the stadium in other B1G stadiums because they don't have fans trying to sell to opposing teams to make a buck.

putting on stubhub isn’t selling to opposing fans.

why are Rutgers football fans so bad who put tix on stubhub, yet other team fans with tix on stubhub are fine, rutgers hoops fans who list tix are fine..etc.

again the issue is demand.

...the reason for the above is you either have more season tickets for those teams between the 30 yard lines, limited number of mini-plans that have more tickets available for one of the larger games and demand/ ease to sell via stubhub...

not every season ticket holder is aware of this forum or facebook to sell and some fans cant give tickets away on a Saturday night given RU prior performance....

But in my example, which was brought up by some one else, the person was a member of THIS forum and went on the Michigan equivalent to sell.

Stub Hub? Who cares.

Using the Ticket Board on here and someone from the other side buys? Oh well. It happens.

But to solicit on a team site of the opposition when those other two options are available which you know about since you’re a TKR member? Weak.

Not even close. Your stupidity not figuring it out isn't a surprise. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut. You are brain dead

As I said above I don’t really care about StubHub or using our Ticket Board, since once it’s out there…you do lose some control over the transaction.

What scenario? First off you been complaining about everyone selling tickets. Now you are only mad about one clown pulling your chain?
Again you and all of the complaining people ignore the fact that Rutgers put more then twice as much tickets on StubHub then all the season holders combined. That includes a boatload of 40-50-40 yard line seats on the west side every single game. The former home side has only a small percentage of season ticket holders anymore. Between dying, getting old or moving to the home side the place is vacant of season ticket holders. Those that are left just want to park in Scarlet Lot and walk in

No I have not.

My only complaint was when another poster brought it to our attention that someone, a regular on here - at least a name I am familiar with, sold on the Michigan version of this site.

Read my posts in the thread. I’ve pretty much laid out my thoughts on the whole matter. But I spell it out again for you:

If someone doesn’t have an issue with the above, then don’t complain about anything off the field. Because you’re condoning the problem.
