Dominoes could be starting to fall

No question, Robert Barchi is smart and Greg Brown is smart, and
NOW WOULD BE A REALLY GOOD TIME TO SHOW HOW SMART THEY ARE!

Let's hope that they have identified this as a critical issue and have put their heads together, brought in all necessary additional minds and laid out a comprehensive strategic plan for successfully addressing all of this mess. Please have Barchi tuned in to this like it is one of the most complicated puzzles he has ever had to solve. Please have Brown dialed in like he was pulling off the high tech deal of the century.
Please, please do not blunder!

getting interesting. hope Barchi doesn't do the worst possible move by removing Julie and keeping Flood.

This is Rutgers, what do you think? ;)

Of all the possible scenarios (Flood Goes, Julie Stays; Flood Goes, Julie Goes; Both Stay; Flood Stays; Julie Goes), the Flood stays Julie Goes scenario is the most idiotic and would not surprise me at all.

It's the football team that is the absolute mess and disgrace right now, the rest of the AD is humming along just fine (with maybe the exception of the men's basketball program and women's volleyball) and it's the football team that is causing the agita. Flood's the one with direct oversight of that mess.

Now, Julie may have to go too since she's at the top, but we won't know until what's in the report is released. but if she goes, Flood should definitely go too. He's the root cause of this problem we're facing now.

My guess is that if Julie is fired, Flood will follow soon after. It seems that the powers that be don't want Julie to make the hire. There is no way Flood can stay or last. The press would be merciless. My guess is the only way to get rid of Flood was to get rid of Julie as well.

I get what 4Real says but I just don't see how RU fires a protected class AD in just her third year when a non-protected class FB coach performs so bad. I just think politically he's gonna have to get it. Remember, the right thing isn't going to happen here, it's Rutgers, but the politically correct thing is li

You're probably right. Flood kept on playing his I dunna know, I was never told shitck and threatened to sue. By tossing Julie too, it makes his case tougher to win the thinking goes.

I'd lay money that Julie probably delegated something critical, it didn't get done, and now she may be done too.

Everyone keeps saying that Flood is crafty and there is a possibility (because of Rutgers ineptitude) that he may keep his job, but what's to say Herman is not able to make the same threats and keep her job?

Flood might have the "babe in the woods" approach, plus lawyer up as he is alleged to have done in the past, but Herman can lawyer up as well - especially as a diverse employee. That will also cause headaches for Rutgers. She can argue that Barchi hindered her, and she has her status as a diverse employee to give her some ammunition if Rutgers tries to strong arm her or fire her outright.

Heck, she has strings of comments on this message board and there are probably email threads and text chains out there that would give her ammunition if she wanted to argue that Rutgers and the admin never provided the support she needed to deal with a possibly insubordinate, high profile coach because of her gender and sexual orientation.

Those in the know should be looking for new jobs too. If JH goes, the den of vipers that are the remaining AD employees will have been empowered by the results and by thinking that they were responsible for her getting fired. They will be therefor forever dissatisfied with anyone who would come in and shake things up or who doesn't give proper deference to the lunatics running the asylum. The back stabbing, leaks, and stream of real and perceived "problems" and slights will go on as long as they are there. For those who were not directly guilty of this but rather just sat back and did nothing, they had their chance to anonymously counter any of the crap that was leaked out over the last few years. They just sat back and let it all happen and were spineless. Sorry but there needs to be an Athletic Department fire sale.

This. If Julie goes, the next AD should be a clear outsider who comes in with a completely new staff.

Rivals message board, exhibit A your honor...lol!

Where do people come up with this stuff? It's mildly embarrassing.

For my next witness, your honor, I call the avatar known as Ron Jeremy! Oops, sorry ... We haven't been able to locate him since the Spanky incident.

Hostile environment. File for discovery, a few subponeas asking for the identity of users. Match or connect them to RU executives, administrators. staff, donors, and other related parties emails and texts and off we go.
