Tulane freshman outfielder Jackson Linn has officially entered his name into the Transfer Portal according to D1 Baseball's Kendall Rogers. Linn had an excellent freshman season and is looking for a new home. As a freshman, Linn slashed .353/.410/.536 with 54 hits, seven doubles, seven home runs, 31 RBIs and a .946 OPS. Linn is originally from Boston and might be interested in looking to find a school closer to home. With Rutgers coming a historic season, Rutgers could be in play for Linn if they decided to pursue the talented freshman. Rutgers is losing Mike Nyisztor and Garrett Callaghan so there might be a need for outfielders. Plus, his offensive prowess could help strengthen Rutgers' high-powered offense.
