Is Corey related to ex-Rutgers Sam Sanders?

Is Corey Sanders related to ex-Rutgers (then USF) Sam Sanders, both Floridians? I have the vaguest recollection of the high-flying Sam Sanders ... a tremendous dunker. And once upon a time, Rutgers beat Georgetown and Sam did some kind of dance in front of the Georgetown bench, a few feet from Hoyas coach John Thompson.

Transfered to South Florida after two years..he was like a baby deer trying to dribble, but man could he dunk.

He was a good defender as well. He was a shot boater dunker.

Well chiefs1956, since you asked, he joined in on a lil friendly toss my friends and I were having...I tossed him a long one, he ran for it, missed it, and stepped on it. Snapped in half. We laughed, talked about hoops, and that was that. The rest is history.
