I missed the beginning of the game but the game seems to be going about what I thought so far. I said Clemson has a better chance than some might think because they run the type of offense that Alabama can have trouble with and their defense is actually good and can give an okay QB like Coker issues.
I thought the biggest issue was if Clemson could perform up to their potential under the pressure of the NC game. Alabama usually wears teams down over time but I don't know if that'll happen in this game because I think Clemson's defense can be up to the task of staying par with Alabama's offense and Clemson's offense is good enough too.

the atmosphere in he south is ALWAYS electric....at least at both these particular schools..
Anyone watching the skycam? I kind of like it. Granted I have no choice since I canceled cable...but you can see more of the defense.
Yup, nice having a mobile qb like that and he can throw pretty well too. He's exactly the type of qb who can give trouble to Alabama's defense. Herbstreit is right in saying he's the best qb Alabama has seen all year. Their type of offense and Watson's mobility were 2 big reasons I thought this would be a game. Whether they win or not is another story but barring "stage fright" I thought this had the potential for a good game.
bama is not as good as people give them credit for. and so far, Clemson is better than give them credit for.
I think Alabama is as good as people give them credit for. Not as dominating as past Alabama teams but better than most of college football this year. So so offense but very very good defense. I just think Clemson is better than people have given them credit for. Some here were comparing them to FSU last year and painting them as a poser ACC team before the playoffs started and I said I think they're better than FSU. I think people were also discounting their defense which I thought was good too. So they have both a good offense and defense and a type offense and mobile qb which Alabama has shown the potential to have trouble with judging by their losses in the recent past.
Awesome football game. Watson is way better than the Bama QB - biggest difference in the game. Would love to have a QB like that. I know dual threat QBs find it hard surviving in the NFL, but the athletes just aren't as good in college.
