New BIG is brutal

Washington has 7 guys expected to go in the first 5 rounds of the draft. They're losing QB 1st to 2nd Rd., Tackle 1st Rd., WR#1 1st Rd., WR#2 2nd Rd. WR#3 4th Rd. and two defensive lineman one in the 1st Rd and one expected 5th Rd.. This list does not include seniors out of eligibility. That's a lot of talent for anyone besides maybe 3 to 4 teams to replace.
You do realize they have already re loaded especially their number 1 at QB… Will Rogers…you should check their current list coming in .

Too lazy don't care anymore to do a term paper on the Washington Huskies.

All you need do is look it up… about 9-10 guys…BJ Green II Edge DL Georgia….Jeremiah Hunter Cal Berkley WR..Will Rogers Miss State QB … Dave Azzopardi OT USC…Tre Watson New Mexico … Sebastian Valdez Georgia … here you are clown only a few to go.

Sounds good Bob's Big boys. I'm sure they'll all pan out to be top 5 Rd. draft choices.

Will Rogers is a solid replacement but I wasn’t sure he’d be as proficient and accurate with the deep ball as Penix. I mean how many qbs are. It doesn’t mean they can’t tailor the offense to be better suited to him.

Came across this article in the Athletic with a few stats.

From the article:

Rogers’ average depth of target in his three seasons in Leach’s offense was 5.8 yards, the lowest among all FBS starters according to TruMedia. He raised that rate to 6.9 this season, but it’s still nowhere close to Penix’s average of 9.9 since joining the Huskies. More than 500 of Rogers’ 1,301 career completions were at or behind the line of scrimmage. That’s what was asked of him. It doesn’t necessarily mean he can’t do more.

DeBoer says he actually sees more similarities than differences between Penix and Rogers. He was impressed by Rogers’ accuracy as a 69 percent career passer who only tossed 28 interceptions over those nearly 1,900 attempts. He sees a veteran quarterback with big-game experience who won’t be overwhelmed by anything. Grubb praised Rogers’ tape this season against South Carolina, a 487-yard performance in which he completed five 20-plus-yard throws, as encouraging proof he can hit play-action shots and push the ball downfield.

It will be interesting to see how the B1G West teams start doing now with fairer schedules.
They will most likely have to have similar schedules to what we have faced going forward- no where to hide.
