When it comes to posts intended solely to shame other schools....

"Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people." — Eleanor Roosevelt.
All I want is to beat PSU. We don't need to worry about the past at all.....although I definitely want some blocked kicks against PSU more than any other team over the next four years. :)

Stop the TTFP stuff o.k. We had plenty of hate before the pedophile stuff. Building that statue just make them look insensitive and stupid.

Joe knew
psu fans are a bunch of cultists who care more about football than children being raped
the football-first culture at psu led to an environment where abuses like this could occur.

the football program should have been shut down forever.

it is everyone's job to embarrass them at every opportunity and never let anyone forget what a travesty this has been.

Do you really believe all this; that ALL penn state fans care more about football than child rape? Do you know how silly that sounds?

That would be like saying Rutgers football fans care more about football than woman abuse because a lot of RU fans want the Rutgers football program to welcome back ray rice into the "proud RU sons" club.

I'm not defending anyone, but to paint an entire fan base with that broad brush is extremely careless.

No offense OP but TTFP was one of the dumbest things ever. Flood got his ass handed to him by Franklin and PSU (you were there IIRC) and did absolutely nothing to combat the statement that Franklin made about NJ. TTFP was unoriginal and stale just like Kyle Flood.

I would not say losing by a field goal and then a few Tds is getting his ass handed to him. That would be our other Big scores but not psu.

"At this point, we don't have a sponsor," said Gomez. "We're not worried about money, we're worried about making a statement."
There we go!

How do you make that comparison? First of all, Ray Rice's wife, THE VICTIM, forgave him and together they are working to address the issue of domestic violence. To the best of my knowledge the victims of the Sanduski crimes and the Paterno cover up have not forgiven PSU. Second, no one in the RU fan base has denied what Ray Rice did but there are many, NOT ALL, PSU fans who still insist that the whole episode was blown out of proportion and that Paterno did nothing wrong. There is no doubt in my mind that for many people out there the PSU thing is a cult like belief system. Talking to some of them about these issues is down right scary.

You missed the whole point of my post...I'm not going to try to explain it to you...but think about the concept of painting an entire fan base with one brush

I did not miss the point, notice my capitalization of ALL in the post. You still compared PSU fans support of the Sanduski crimes to RU fans supporting Ray Rice. Whether you like it or not you made the comparison and it is totally out of line.

But when there's enough of them , there isn't a problem painting scum the color of scum and letting the decent ones be treated fairly.
Acting like there wasn't a problem with a lot of the Nit fanbase is just ignoring the fact that they like the leadership of PSU in 2001and its HC cared more about winning football than the victims that were hurt by letting a Child Molester remain free after he was caught molesting a child because it might hurt the football program's image.

But explaining that is impossible to those who refuse to accept a cult existed and continues to exist today.
Some stick to believing Penn St can do no wrong and anyone who thinks different is wrong.
There are some sick Nit fans and they are the cult members that RU fans are talking about, not the whole fan base that defenders of everything Penn St try to claim when the cult is brought up on this Rutgers board.

Losers worry about others when they should focus on their own. Easy to mock tough to build and be respectable. The fan base is embarrassing. How many conferences has the home team failed in
and the response is always mock others.Nj weakness.

Nope. Hell, wvu beat us down each year and I would say the majority of us liked them.

I see this is a common theme in your posts. In a very Trump way, calling people from NJ losers because we think pedophilia is bad.

Wow- what a thread...screw- you should have kniwn(and maybe you did..lol) it would bring out the PSU trolls, our own self hating trolls and somehow make it Floods fault.
Priceless

Please show me PSU fans who "support the Sandusky crimes".

There is a faction of PSU fans who believe JoePa did his duty by reporting Sandusky to the authorities who decided not to press charges and then there are those that wish he had done more but also respect all that he DID do like donation millions of dollars for the construction of the library...

On the other hand there are RU fans who believe Ray Rice is an honorable man because he was the best NFL player to come out of RU and it would be a travesty if RU football couldn't be proud of that kind of success of one of their own...

The poster this was in response to referred to penn state fans as one group, he didn't distinguish "some" or "a minority of"...just attempting to clarify that not ALL fans and not even MOST fans fit this description

In 2014, it was certainly not a matter of getting our ass handed to us. However, in 2015, we were abused like a 10 year old boy in a Penn State locker room.

Do agree that the PSU fan base is more diverse than many here give it credit for. It includes fans like kjb, who is open about his PSU fandom, and also frauds like you, who claim to be something else. The common denominator continues to be denial over the atrocities committed by your former DC and covered up by your "legendary" late HC, AD, and president of your university.

Disagree, you have made some asinine statements that should have clarification...but I understand if you are too ignorant to realize what you said was a mistake...just understand no one supports pedophilia

They don't support pedophilia but they apparently had no problem supporting the people who covered it up.

Need to move on from Penn State stuff. Let's field the right team and beat them on the field, and make it a great rivalry. Not going to be a rivalry till we break thru.

There are a lot of good people at Penn State that are very ashamed and shocked at what happened, let's leave it at that.

Agree. I just tried to let it go but he wouldn't let me. Nonetheless, I agree with you.

FYI some of the victims actually went on to graduate from penn state and one of them sits in our section. Has been going to games for years and is a great guy. He supports the student athletes and his alma mater.

Stop assuming stuff that you don't know just bc you want to be a hater on the Internet with no remorse bc it's an anonymous board.

Absolutely classless post on all accounts.

Not to mention ya'll need to worry about ur selves after the embarrassment that ur season was last year both on and off the field

I absolutely love TTFP threads: I wonder if anyone can guess why.

This is a 100% absolutely true story verified by some guy on a message board. This was in no way made up just to prove a point.

Did u watch the game this year? I mean no disrespect but psu didn't play to run up the score despite winning by 25 (which is in every estimation I've ever known a blowout). They ran the ball 75% of the time. Barkley averaged almost 10 yards a carry ran for 195 and 2 td's in his first college start... (which I still laugh that some on here were campaigning last year that Snorweigh was better)

May I ask what constitutes a blowout in ur mind?
