And it didn't require a decade+ of cover-ups before justice being served. I won't draw any equivalence between an adult abusing another adult versus an adult abusing many young boys, because there is nothing worse than what happened in the Lasch locker room.

I've never denied I grew up watching PSU football...what amazes me is a fan base (at least on the message boards) that has no interest in building a bigger fan base and allowing anyone who didn't grow up with Scarlet tinted glasses to follow the RU football team, yet wants more people to come to football games and support the program...I'm just glad the folks and friends I sit with at football and basketball games are NOTHING like many of the "fans" on this board...by the way, there were 2 times as many PSU fans at the basketball game on Saturday afternoon than students (I took a clear picture with my phone)...at a minimum, RU needs all the support it can get from outsiders like me spending my money on local entertainment.

I respect your opinion but I don't think Rutgers fans should be complaining about people from outside the "circle" financial supporting the various programs...like I said, if you were at the basketball game the other day and saw the poor turnout of younger RU fans and students I think you'd understand in order to grow the program's you should welcome anyone who wants to buy the tickets and sit in the seats...and not give them grief about being a fan also of other schools...either way I like college sports enough what is said to me here won't stop me from going

Yep, i buy into a season ticket plan that someone else has and but the four conference games. Maybe is but the season ticket package if one ld the games I had to buy wasn't an FCS team...it's why I don't by Giants season tix, it's a racket you have to buy pre season games too

When referring to the cult there...I am not referring to the majority of students and alumni. I am referring to only those that want to sweep it under the table, close the closet door, it wasn't us, Joe Pa did all he could do cult. If you are a normal person that attended, attends or just a fan who this does not apply to, then don't take offense.
I was at my nephew's 2014 graduation at PSU and very proud of what he accomplished and to do it at PSU. Not easy as it is a very good university. But, I could have this discussion with him. He would tell me how much fun the games were but also not hide from what happened. He is one of you that can admit to all that was wrong and yet still enjoy what he got from school there and his experience. Not once have I bad mouthed your university. The problem are those of you that don't see your own history. And it is not exclusive to Sandusky. Please tell me who was the most powerful person at PSU for 40 years.
