I typically try not to get involved in the Sandusky discussion here because it's pointless. But since everyone is 100% certain of everyone's culpability in the matter, I'll ask this:
If and when the cases against Curley, Schultz and Spanier are fully dismissed, and/or Spanier's defamation lawsuit proves the Freeh report was paid for by certain Trustees to reach a certain, predetermined conclusion, will any of you change your
I'll sit back and listen. No cult this or cult that, or Joe Paterno definitely covered things up. A lot of you go down that path every day. Humor me for a bit and presume the scenario I posed comes to pass. How would that change things for you five years after the scandal?
You make a lot of assumptions ( and they are all completely wrong of course, I'll take any bet you offer Putz ). My contributions are plenty, but I don't need to brag or start a "look at me thread, I'm new to the board"I'd be willing to put up a wager on that one, even giving you the 7 year head start...because if you made 2-3x what I make and you aren't a major contributor to the school and program you would be exactly the problem with RUs atheltic budget woes...but go ahead and trump your half million $$$ salary, but be sure to back it up with the posters in the know on this board who know you aren't one of the high donors...

OOC games are often scheduled many years in advance. Not knowing when the games were scheduled relative to the sanctions has an impact on the discussion. Your point is well made if the games were all scheduled after the sanctions. If, however, they were scheduled before the sanctions then the argument changes.
Since you are dealing in total speculation, it's only fair that you also agree to answer for the STRONG cult following on your board and among your fandom and whether they will all of a sudden admit they were all wrong if and when the men are found guilty of any of the charges of committing a coverup.... and that Paterno and the other enablers were 100 percent guilty of covering up acts of pedophilia under Paterno's watch......rather than continue to say they are being wrongly accused as they are now, and have been for the last several years.
nope you're wrong, State Penn would be nowhere without football. You want to talk about no one giving a shit about a University? Take football away from State Penn and see how wonderful it would be living literally in the middle of nowhere with literally nothing to do
I realize the sanctions will never be coming back and have made my peace with that
What I will never stop is reminding your hideous fans, and everyone else how truly hideous you are.
And I'm glad you like my memes! :)
We don't need to wonder, dumb ass! We fired the coach who was the reason no top NJ kids have gone to Rutgers over the last 3 years.
Immediately before Flood took over, we picked up 6 out of the top 10 NJ kids and like 12 of the top 20 when Schiano was in his last year here recruiting.
How stupid are you? I mean, I know you ar brainwashed as a jabot, but to be this stupid as well should be a crime.
If they are not dismissed will you renounce all things Penn State and drop your support of the football team?
I agree with you. I'm not anti-PSU or anti-Catholic church. I just think that there are plenty of my fellow RU football fans here that are oddly selective in their outrage. I don't really understand that.As a Catholic I am appalled by what was done by those priests and the clergy who protected them. All of them should be punished to the fullest extent of the law, without exception. I still go to church every Sunday. PSU should not have had their program shut down because of what St. Joe allowed to happen but there is no reason why he. And everyone else involved, should not have been punished to the fullest extent of the law.
I'm not sure it's "total speculation." The state has already dropped some of the charges against those three, and Spanier is moving full-speed ahead with his suit against Freeh's firm and Penn State. The court docs are out there if you care to Google. These men were charged five years ago and the case has gone nowhere. No matter on what side of the fence you fall, based on evidence and the law, the state's case is far from rock-solid.
Well, it is total speculation, because while some of the charges were dropped, the three men are still being charged with "failure to report suspected abuse" and "endangering the welfare of children."
What was dismissed was perjury, obstruction and conspiracy counts.
The "failure to report suspected abuse charges" (umm, the actually covering up) are still firmly in place.
So, if they also have these dropped, then I will change my view at that time as well, but jut because they threw out the perjury and other charges, doesn't mean the other charges are soon to be dismissed.
Far from it.
You're testing my memory, but I'll give it my best shot:
2012: Ohio, at Virginia, Navy, Temple
- Virginia was scheduled prior to the sanctions.
2013: Syracuse (E. Rutherford), Eastern Michigan, UCF, Kent State
- The Syracuse was game was scheduled back in 2010. UCF was added post-sanctions, in place of UVA, reported as a way for O'Brien to lighten the schedule a bit.
2014: UCF (Ireland), Akron, UMass, Temple
- Touched on the UCF series above. This year's nonconference slate originally included Rutgers, of course, and I believe UMass was the replacement.
2015: Temple, Buffalo, San Diego St., Army
- Buffalo and San Diego were definitely added post-sanctions. Unsure about Temple/Army.
Congrats, in 1 year of the 140+ years you've had football u had a decent recruiting class. Please don't sit there and act like Flood destroyed the program, there was nothing to destroy. Much as you may want to convice urselves that anyone actually cares about rutgers football, the general population does not care. Ur argument is "
Well, Well, um uhhh one year we had a good class!" congrats and what did you all do with that class? nothing... that's the point.
At the end of the day though the one thing u all want most won't happen... A victory over Penn State.
Must have been great watching Barkley who we flipped from u run all over ur D last year.... Ya'll lost all ur LB's right? Can't wait to make the trip up to piscataway again this year!

You didn't answer my question, but I'll answer yours: If it's proven that Sandusky's crimes were hidden in any way by C/S/S and by extension Joe Paterno, my view of those men will change radically, of course.
EDITED TO ADD: I can't speak to what happens on BWI, as I rarely visit that board. Most of the normal PSU fans seem to use the other services.
Actually, as long as Penis Head keeps coaching your team, you'll soon lose to us just like you lost to Maryland and Temple. Congrats that he was a slightly better coach that Flood.
Flood is gone now. He couldn't beat anyone good. PSU, meanwhile, still have Penis Head.
So I guess now we should all love OJ and forget about the murder.OJ got away with murder. The system isn't alway fair or correct.
Nominee for dumbest thing said this year... PSU would be no where without football. Honest Question... What's it like to be an idiot? I mean really that's one of the dumbest things I've ever read hands down. That's like saying UNC would be nothing without Basketball. Dude u are far and away the dumbest poster on the board, congrats you just took the cake
Whatever helps you sleep at night. last I checked "Penis Head" beat you 2 years in a row and last year embarrassed RU. U lost Caroo and ur LB's with no one decent to replace them. Chris Ash can't recruit "Penis Head" got the PSU job and in one month brought on 10 new recruits.... Ash got 1.
U may get a blind squirrel win once in a decade against PSU but straight up I do laugh how ya'll try to convince us how terrible Franklin is.... Why are you trying to convince us? We believe in him, we know that post sanctions the team needed to rebuild. We also know that each year many of Franklin's freshman have a big impact on the team and we are only getting better....
but go ahead and tell urself that PSU sucks and Franklin sucks... Ur only 0-2 on the field and like 3-50 head to head for recruits since Franklin became coach
So I guess now we should all love OJ and forget about the murder.
What don't you get? Penis head beat Flood, yes.... Flood sucked. We fired him and replaced him with a legit coach.
What don't you get about that?
Are you really defending Penis Head as a good coach? Even your fellow cultists think he sucks.
In just two years he has lost to two programs that PSU hasn't lost to in decades.
He is horrible, and it's going to be three programs very soon, as long as Penis Head remains.
Some of our fans may be dumb enough to think that we're Alabama but the majority of us realize that it was always going to be an uphill battle post sanctions and the fact that we didn't have a single losing season is a miracle.
Again yes we lost to temple this year and Md last year. we played temple this year before we knew what we had in Barkley... he didn't pplay that game, I can assure you had he the result would be different... The good news is we play temple again this year, let's see what the result is...
Although it's comical to me that you are already proclaiming Ash as this "Savior" when he hasn't done a thing to show that. No games played and no good recruits.... But again go ahead and try to convince urselves that you have the next urban meyer.... I'll be in Piscataway this year if you would like to discuss the result post game after you get slaughtered by 30 this year
