The No. 16 Rutgers men’s lacrosse team has a big test this weekend, with a road contest upcoming at No. 18 Stony Brook. The Scarlet Knights are looking to improve on a 5-0 start to the season in the matchup against the Seawolves, who have begun the year at 3-1. The game starts at 6 p.m. Friday. There will be a live video stream provided by AmericaEast.com.

Big test? Well, give the boys gentlemen's C because it was on the road. Up 3-0 early, and it ws 8-5 in the middle of the third ... and end up losing, 15-6. Rough night for Alleyne in the nets. Top 20 was nice while it lasted. Looking forward to how the staff and kids come out of this.

I know very little about the power schools in Lacrosse. At the same time Stony Brook dominating Rutgers 15-6 sounds like Rutgers was overrated and the defense needs improvement.

SB is legit, so the loss is not embarrassing. My hope that it was just a bad day. Also, not having Edelman in goal has been a game changer for us. It has magnified our FO weaknesses and nullified our transition game. Anyone know if he's coming back?
