Inability to clear is showing up again, wasted possessions and recipe for a blowout. However, a lot of that is due to Maryland’s insane pressure. Still, we look like bumbling idiots when we get the ball in our D end

I know jack$hit about lacrosse but it appears we are hesitating to take what looks to be decent opportunities to take shots…
It appears like we are almost waiting for the perfect opportunity. We have 9 shots to their 20.. Take 5 away for turnovers or a rebound and they still are doubling us up.

These turnovers are freaking ridiculous. No excuse whatsoever for some of these.
Can’t get upset with RU losing to UMD … the Terps just play at another level.
Disappointed in the turnovers and they didn’t score over the last 24 minutes. RU played pretty good D.

Listen I completely understand how good Maryland is as a team, but honestly, we look like poop right now. These turnovers are beyond ridiculous.

Pinpoint passing, stifling defense to go with an unbeatable faceoff guy. Just a complete team that doesn't make mistakes. Somewhere you'd expect a chink in the armor but not with this MD team. They keep playing like this they'll have a cakewalk to the Championship.

Their D is top notch and they are just so fast and strong. The things we get from other teams we just don't get from these guys. Not helping we are just turning the ball over. Don't know what the hell that call was out of the timeout. Just can't have that.

Agreed, totally embarrassing. Kirst is doing his best but the rest of the team is letting each other down over and over and over again.
No goals last 24 minutes of the half and only 2 goals and 11 shots. Tough to beat an excellent team with those stats.
It’s not a coincidence that our two worst games are against Maryland. They are that good and a terrible matchup for literally everyone.
Team needs to take those outside shots like they did vs OSU. Why are they so afraid to shoot deep?
If you heard Maryland had 8 at the half you'd expect it was a game. But clearing issues, faceoffs and Maryland playing great D has essentially turned this into a coronation of the #1 seed in the tournament. Talented and DEEP.
The D has played their asses off. We held them to 8 goals and the ball was in our end almost the entire half.
If you would have told me they had the ball that much I would have said they would have scored 14 goals.
We are actually turning them over a little bit. I haven't actually seen them turn the ball over like that.
Not sure what’s taking so long to run some 33 sets. Maryland shutting the offense down manned up and Rutgers isnt getting any good looks. Forget putting an attckmen behind the goal they’re not even getting a shots off to have a chance to regain possession anyway.

They did. They inverted Knobloch and Aimone. When no one can get separation from their guys there isn't a set in the world that will make a difference. Maryland is just so disciplined in their slides and fundamental in their man to man D. And they have a great goalie.
They are the most complete team I've personally ever seen in college. They are deep, hurt you at every spot on the field, incredibly well coached and play so hard.
Someone may get to them, but I haven't seen a team that I would put any odds on to do that.
