9-7; 12-2; 3-2; now 11-2 . Mets are up 35-13 in the Subway Series.
And hardly a Yankee fan to be found in the house. Yankee stadium takeover.
I think he realizes we are the better team right now. Whether he'd outwardly admit that is another story.K-Bee ……….
I'm feeling like it's just a matter of time before we catch and overtake the floundering and injured Braves. Just need to take better care of home where we actually have not played as well as on the road.
Mets now have an active staff of four starters and nine relievers (if you count Butto as a reliever). They will soon add two starters, Senga for sure, and probably Megill. Two relievers will have to go. My guess is Young and Young, but we shall see.
Now, now. Remember, the Yankees are in first place and have by far the best record in baseball . . . .
What's his favorite line? The days are a little better when the Yankees win and the Mets lose,lmfao. The Dead Zone is well a Dead Zone. The 3 Amigos are eating crow from so much they posted when the Mets were 11 under.GOT TO LOVE IT. I refuse to crow until the season ends but man- playing them was fun this year.
It is also amazing they are all just sitting on their hands waiting for their new hero, Stanton to come back.

Interesting mix.
But good to see the Mets rack up wins despite struggles from guys like Alonso, Nimmo, Alvarez, Martinez. All of whom are in the .600's in terms of OPS.

Quintana and Peterson with 2.19 and 2.49 era's respectively. In 4 starts a piece, both with 2 W's, both with 2 QS's. Quintana has given the Mets 24 ip's Peterson at 21.
Manaea in 5 starts, 29 ip's 3 QS's, 1 W, and a 3.34.
Severino 3 starts, 18 ip's, 2 qs's, 2 w's 4.42.
Scott in 4 starts, with zero qs, zero w's, only 19 ip's and 5.42 era.
We have also gotten some excellent pitching out of the bullpen, led by Butto's .84 era in 6 appearances and 10.2 ip's.
Diaz a 1.59 era, 5.2 ip's in 6 appearances.
Maton 1.80 era, 5 ip's in 6 appearances.
Nunez 10 appearances, 10 ip's 2.70 era.
Houser Diekman and Ottavino have struggled with the former two with era's over 9 and the latter's over 6.
So overall pitching has been pretty good. Solid starting pitching and mixed bullpen results. The mixed results being much better then the overall putrid results of May.

Yes signed yesterday about $200K under slot. Once Snyder signs for over slot we're presumably done. Jelkin and Haight not expected to sign so we'll have 18 of 20 in the system.
For relievers, ERA is often not a good barometer to how they are pitching. Because because the calculation is earned runs x 9 divided by innings pitched, one bad inning can send their ERA soaring.
Kbee believes in the saying "winners brag, losers shut up."
So there's not really much to say. Except that there's more than two months left in the season, and hopefully this team will get out of its funk and start playing like they did earlier in the season.
