OT Bruce Springsteen

Just an FYI on this... I work at Met Life and was at all 3 shows. He did not make one political statement ( outside of playing 41 shots on night 2 if you want to call that a political statement)
I had a lets say a disagreement about 41 shots with a friend of mine. He had two young cops sitting by him who were huge fans for most of the concert but when 41 shots was played things changed. They pulled out their badges held them up during the whole song and cursing Bruce out the whole time.

I find so ironic that before and after the song they loved Bruce but then hated him for one song. IMO and I know this will turn into a debate, if people cannot see that shooting an unarmed black man 41 times was a issue then they don't want to admit that sometimes the cops are wrong.

I then said to my friend what about "The Ghost of Tom Joad" ? Talk about a song and of course book about the weak being prayed upon , why don't people see that song as political. Heck even when Bruce sings "This Land is Your Land" most people don't realize that was a protest song.

Throughout history artists have written, painted, sang about issues that were "political" , why people get angry is beyond me.

If anyone's down near the Philly area, I have an extra field GA ticket for the concert at CBP tonight
