OT: 'Fire him immediately': Maryland fans turn on Kevin Willard ahead of Terrapins' Sweet Sixteen matchup

Critically attacking, certainly, stalking no, but won't stop pointing out your useless / constant negative crap about RU. I'll do this in the open as I'd do to anyone who wears a phoney masquerade and loves to make RU look bad. Truth hurts that you do nothing good or positive to benefit RU. And don't act like you're constructively critical. Who needs those that relish telling us whats wrong with RU. Try defending RU for a change, now that would be out of character for you..I've said it often does RU want you in its foxhole. No way.
Please keep to the subject you are a blowhard. BTW I'm renewing my seats . Meet me at the concession stand. I'll buy you a Shirley Temple.

This from a guy that saves papers from 2002. You must be kidding. . I'll see you at 3am--- by the way change your description that #3 BS is no longer appropriate -shouldn't it be like #50--aren't you that ,what have you done for me today type of guy. Stop living in the past-- you expect coaches , Rutgers, concessions, etc to do so-- what about yourself. And get rid of all those papers they're a fire hazard. Don't be a sick0 hoarder.

Well, I'm leaving my card game in Maspeth, where are you ? At the concession stand at the Rac with your brother?

What's your game pinnacle or gin rummy? Anywho....I have a box of RU mementos from ticket stubs to old programs to newspapers about RU women to the final 4 to Schiano leaving to Rice to Jordan firings . Nothing unusual.

Same...i have a ton of Rutgers ticket stubs, programs, newspaper clippings, signs, buttons, pins, clothing, hats...

Some fan 66 is, he throws away his Rutgers stuff in the trash bin....boo hiss

I think I will send him all of my Julie Hermann collection

Another hypoccrtable statement --you made it a thread about comparing RU to Villanova and Maryland .Start a post about how unfavorable RU compares to those schools if you want that discussion. Keep it out of a Willard thread. But face it you can't control yourself about being critical of Ru in every post.
Nice. Hypocritical

I'm not losing sleep over this. But saying "I don't know if Villanova offered me the job or not" at this point is getting old, now that the season ended last night...

how many threads does 66 derail because he insists on stalking my posts
Ignore debating him or even acknowledging he exists in your world.
As for Willard : it's a dammed if you do, dammed if you don't situation.
He might be interested in jumping to Villanova leaving the Turtles behind or would rather stay at Maryland
if they support their basketball program far better.
Also might be worried about Maryland hiring the type of AD that makes Maryland's basketball program have to beg for help while the football program's every wish is catered to.

He might be seeing the writing on the wall for his career : stay at a place that doesn't support its basketball program and destined for failure and unemployment or leave for a program that is basketball oriented and gets the type of support that makes for a successful program and a long coachin career there .

Willard hasn't jumped yet so he might be willing to stay if Maryland gets an AD that treats basketball just as good as football and puts in the funds that wil make a program able to compete with the best.
If Wilard stays worried much longer I'd expect he'll jump just to make sure he's not left between a rock and a hard place if-when Villanova gets tired of waiting and hires someone else as its HC

I’d be hoping Willard leaves if I was a Maryland fan, which I sort of am.

Andy Enfield would be my first call and you very likely won’t have to make another one. Maryland is his dream job and he’s a way better coach than Willard.

Yeah, all good points. There are a lot more moving parts than I am acknowledging...

He was the number one choice last time, or at least I thought he was, but for whatever reason it never happened. I think USC ponied up...

The problem is he doesn't want to wait around fir a new AD..too much uncertainty

He will have to win at Nova immediately..a bad year or 2 and he will be canned

I can tell you how it all went down. He actually accepted the offer verbally but hadn't signed the contract yet. USC had a game that night and they were at the hotel in Westwood. The USC AD found out about it and marched over and made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

I'd feel pretty confident that if Maryland came calling again, he'd jump at it. I am not sure how the Maryland brass feels about what happened though.

On the off topic board, there was a poster I eventually did not want to answer anymore
I stopped responding totally and I believe he thought I put him on ignore

Or, you could put him on ignore

If you want me to start pointing out your typos you'll be amazed how many there are. Me however know that doing that is a simpleton's attempt to be relevant and as I've often said about you it just shows how much of a hypocrite you are.Stop hoarding.

Why are you arguing with a Jack Russell terrier and telling Sweet Pea how to clean his doghouse

Pardon my ignorance …but how can Buzz williams be a candidate for Maryland (which would be a great hire ) if they don’t have an AD??? For the same reason why Willard may not stay at Maryland, he doesn’t know who rhe AD will be ???
