Get Raymond to write a tribute. Please include their obituary - even though they are alive.
Solid case can be made for each of them. Palmer changed the nature of golf. Howe was legendary from pre-modern era to the modern era. Only Gretzky really challenges him for all time great. And with Summitt, that's not really in question.
Personally, I think Nicklaus was the best golfer ever, and Gretzky the best hockey player, but Palmer and Howe are knocking on the door, and in terms of legends of their games, you can certainly make a case that they are #1.
I count about 8 big stars on that list.
Saw Larry Storch a few years ago walking down the Wildwood boardwalk in his F-troop uniform headed toward some type of card show at the convention center to do an autograph session - quite possibly the saddest thing I've seen.

It would be interesting to know if their Party Affiliation has anything to do with their Longevity. I noticed Clint Eastwood being on the list.Just was curious to see what big time stars are still alive and how old are they. I am sure I am missing a few but these are the most famous 85 and older. Most of these people, I do not know. Only old people know a lot of old people.
Olivia De Havilland will be 103 in July.
Gone with the Wind is 80 years old this year.
With Doris Day passing this week...…….she (Olivia DeHaviland) and Kirk Douglas just might be the only surviving actors from Hollywood's Golden Age. Can't think of anybody else. Anyone?
