One of the least dumb moves my Raiders have made in recent years. Still a long way to go to not suck, but at least this was a sensible hire.

I expect to see the passing game coordinator for the Panthers (Nate Carroll )move into that position at LV
Kris Richard is a name to look for as Pete's DC he has worked under Pete before and Carroll could show him the ropes after giving Kris his first DC job.

I suppose I should be grateful I gave up watching NFL 15+ years ago. Raiders were my favorite team growing up and into my mid-late 20s.

Just pay a little attention from afar now. Didn’t think it was possible to surpass the senile Al years but seems like his son has lol. I don’t get the impression he’s a meddler though so if he happens to stumble upon the right people it could work out. Brady at least has a football brain even if not an experienced executive and that’s head and shoulders above Mark so who knows.

Being a Raiders & Rutgers football fan taught me the value of selective apathy. That has kept me sane through the years and allowed me to tune out when the sucking gets too bad. The NFL is the only league that I care about once my team is out of it, so I'm still looking forward to Sunday.

I was waiting a long time for the old man to "move on" but Mark is just as bad (only in a different way).

With a, proven coach a high draft pick and a reported 120 million in cap space, if the Raiders can't start on an upper trajectory now I don't know when they can. The Houston Texans and now the Washingtin Commanders have shown how fast the turnaround can be in this league with the right people brought in.

Well the thing is you don't need to pick in the top 2 to get a top notch QB if you have people who know what they're doing. Mahomes went at 10, my Bills got Josh Allen at 7. The Josh taken a few picks before him(Rosen) is out of the league. Hell Lamar Jackson went late 1st. In many drafts the 1st QB's taken don't work out the best.
