OT: NCAA College Football Games Thread 11/26-11/30 Tues-Sat

GT has been running well but looks like UGA stuffed them on a 4th and short.

GT up 3-0

They cash in this time finally, hope the other missed opportunities don’t cost them.

10-0 GT

They’ve played well this first half on the road at UGA. Doing well holding the ball and playing keep away even if they haven’t cashed in as much as they should have.

And Nebraska 10 Iowa 0 at the half. Not s good night for the overs.

Oh baby nice stretch and dive for the the goal line on 3rd and goal

17-0 GT and should be 20+ really

UGA is capable of a blitz though like what happened against Alabama in the 2nd half in their loss so hope GT can keep it up in the 2nd half

Haynes to Haynes for the TD.

UGA must be really confident about their SEC Championship chances lol

Still trying to figure out how Wisconsin annihilated RU's defense.
🤷‍♂️

Have read Wisc and OU might be competing for the services of WSU OC Ben Arbuckle…up and coming name I’ve brought up here in the past. It would be a step up for him to see how he could do.

Damn GT likely had a goal line fumble recovery but no solid replay angle existed

Wow, unfortunate muffed punt for NE, as it looked like the NE punt returner might have touched the ball, but he didn't - but another NE player touched the ball first in an ensuing scramble trying to "recover" what he thought was a muffed punt. Crazy. And Iowa can't punch it in from the 4. That NE D-line is stout - they gave us fits, I recall.

In the GA game, almost at the same time, the GA punt returner did muff a punt but they recovered and then drove and scored a TD. I've always questioned the risk/benefit of punt returns, especially deep in one's own territory, where a muff is often catastrophic - far more worse than simply not fielding that punt. Interesting analysis on all of this here by a guy who claims the punt return is the worst play in football.

If GT can get a TD here that would be killer considering the way they’ve hogged the ball. FG is still a 2 score game but a TD makes it 3 scores which will be tough if GT keeps up their TOP.

No calls all night long, and the ref decided that needed to be called. Pretty weak IMO. Of course, I am biased here. I thought a personal foul was warranted after the Georgia defender pushed King's head into the ground after the stop on 3rd and goal.

I think there was contact but I’d like to see just how much from a different angle than they showed. They only showed it once.

Why’d they go for the deep shot? Keep running it. Where’d that come from.

Whew got the conversion on the next play though.
