OT: Will NYC, NB, Philly, Balt, DC (and more) go snowless this winter?

It already has. And if there's a slow melt there will be substantially more.
There is no drought. SoCal loses 95% of the rainfall we get.

We don’t have a drought problem. We have a collection problem.

We also do little to no desalination. They simply don’t want to truly address the issue here. But we have we have gender neutral bathrooms so we have that going for us.

Wow is Numbers in Cali’s and Bac’s head…holy moly.

Let the guy post.
I’m mocking him for going back on his word. Which I called.

I don’t give af what he does. I actually find his posts amusing. Embarrassing but amusing.

Especially the hairy Asian bush pornhub mishap. Greatest post ever.

You did give AF about what he did though. You mocked him for something he did….and things he’s done.

You wouldn’t mock him if you truly didn’t give AF.

You said I’m not letting him post. I do t give af if he does or not other than he’s fun to mock and posts comical stuff. Like the pornhub link that went viral.

Meh, you’re fighting another man’s battle

Again..just calling out trolls. I enjoy these weather threads. And they’re always hijacked by trolls mocking the OP.

How an adult male is entertained by mocking anonymous message board posters is beyond me…but that’s neither here nor there.

Just wish we could get back to discussing weather.

Nah the best post ever was the guy who linked to his "personal" pics elsewhere on the internet containing that poster in a leather harness. LOLOL. That will never be topped.

Hahaha that happened here?!

Oh yeah like 10-ish years ago. That poster didn't realize the hosting site they linked to for a photo they posted left all of their other personal photos public. So following the link brought you to the rest of them.

LOL. Very sexy bear.

It was pretty quickly seen and commented on so that poster could fix that issue. Heck I might have even given the heads up on that I don't remember any more. IIRC the thread was pretty quickly deleted as well.

Can you link the post?

Sentences don't end with commas.
Didn't the next part say "except for long range or pattern threads"?
Cali is both a moron and a troll, who continues to fight a badly losing battle with the English language. I merely said I wasn't starting more storm threads for awhile and this clearly isn't a storm thread. But now that I know how butt-hurt he and his little friends are, maybe I'll start winter storm threads for potential storms 10 days out, every day, just for laughs.

Getting back to the matter at hand, Craig Allen posted this table on FB, which adds a few cities to what I had posted. We're FB friends and have been emailing about storms since the biggest storm forecast bust perhaps ever, March 2001, so I teased him for copying me, lol. With regard to this week, models are still all over the place with some having a minor (but non-zero) snowfall late Tuesday into Wednesday and others having nada - they way this winter has gone, betting on nada is a good bet.

You should put as much effort into your diet and exercise as you do wrong weather threads and flu outbreaks takes.

They may be a couple, and he is standing up for his man. Oh the irony of his criticizing you for fighting another man's battle.

And cali has some hubris. He's calling out others while he is railing against his favorite topic again when it has nothing to do with the thread. Strange obsession and lack of self awareneness.

What do you contribute on these forums besides negativity and tearing others down? I can't recall anything positive you have posted in the recent past. Multiple posters have politely asked you to stop with busting #'s chops. Really bad look for you, and you have some hubris to criticize others. It reeks of some insecurity or other issue of self-esteem.

And what is with your weird obsession with transgender people? You constantly bring up the issue in threads that have nothing to do with the topic. Seems like something you want to continually talk about. Maybe instead of criticizing others and tearing them down, you should work on your own issues.

I could be wrong but I think I heard this is the latest in NYC since 1973 without measurable snow.

See the table in my post above - it's the latest ever in NYC for measurable snow (previous record was 1/29/73) and the winter of 72-73 had the lowest winter season (Oct thru April, realistically speaking) snowfall total ever for NYC of 2.8". Weather records started being kept in NYC in 1869.

Certainly not worth a thread, but worth noting in this thread about snowless winter potential. Here's the NWS map for the potential light snowfall Tuesday night into Weds morning. Note that some models show 1/2-1" up into Philly to NYC and most of CNJ/NNJ, but some still show nada.

Well, maybe this is the calm before the storm. I think it was 77-78 winter where we had 2 storms of at least 18 inches. I recall one was 20+.

Nice NWS explanation, at a high level, of what's been going on most of this winter (outside of mid/late Dec, when we had a good setup for cold/snow, which didn't deliver), leading to the warmth and lack of snow.
