lol Jacob Young was probably Pikes greatest success. Dude was barely playable when he arrived here

To be honest I doubt he was trying to trash Pike there and he just kind of phrased what he was saying suboptimally

Stop with the NIL nonsense. There are many teams that make the NCAA tourney and don’t have crazy NIL resources. Comes down to one thing. Pike picked up 4 portal guys who don’t seem to be ever able to compete in the B1G. Feel bad for the two freshman.
Then that is on the fans. Couldn't help laughing to myself, Indiana goes out and gets a complete beast of a center from Arizona. Why? Because their fanbase cares and pours in donations. Rutgers fans have alligator arms a list of complaints that can top Mount Everest so we get the kid from Princeton as our 5.

When Pikiell gave into Somerville’s demands of no center (if that is true) it confirmed he is a weak coach.
The bigger mistake was surrounding them with mid-major (at best) talent.
Don’t forget Steve also missed the tournament with a more complete roster and Cam Spencer.
The one and dones are the only players keeping us afloat. They’re not the mistake.
He's near the bottom of coaches in the entire country. Quite honestly, and this is a terrible thing to say, I'm not sure how much is going on upstairs.
To look at it another way, how horrific is Grant to not even be as good as Martini? But I agree, let him play see what he can do. Can’t be much worse.
