That's what Rutgers is reporting.

"RU-Camden once again has been recognized by Washington Monthly magazine as a strong value, while also earning high overall rankings among master’s-level universities across the nation."

All of these ratings are absolute nonsense, but I thought I'd might as well report one in which we did well. I think this one is based on community involvement in part.

Camden really is a great little campus.

Camden really is a great little campus.

Yes, it is; it is a vestpocket of green that covers the equivalent of two city streets and one city avenue. As a law professor, I am on the fringe, but even that is green.

Perhaps one day the city of Camden will allow Rutgers to block off 3rd and 5th Streets, since the campus is expanding across those borders. (The law school almost got 5th Street closed. )

If anyone is visiting center city Philly, I advise stopping off at the campus; it is right off the NJ end of the Ben Franklin Bridge (stay to the right, take the first exit. The Camden County College garage will be right then. Park in there, then walk Cooper and Fifth street to the campus. To go home, you can take 30 to 38, 73 and arrive at the NJ Turnpike.

I should have mentioned that the Camden campus is a block away from the City Hall PATCO station. As I'm sure most of you know, PATCO runs between Lindenwold and center city Philadelphia (last stop at 15/16 and Locust). Parking is available at the Woodcrest station just off I-295.
