Rutgers Baseball Starts Spring Break at No. 16 Florida Atlantic

Beginning a seven-game spring break trip, Rutgers baseball will play a three-game series at No. 16 Florida Atlantic starting Friday at FAU Baseball Stadium. The Scarlet Knights will also head to Florida Gulf Coast and Navy as part of their trek.

Horrible loss, after having a 5-run lead in the 1st and up 3 in the 9th, no doubt, but don't be silly. We both know you're a much better fan/poster than this buddy. Com'on.

btw FAU is #16 nationally and we were 5-6 headed into this evening, which is pretty good for us this early, right? Softball is 8-12 with SIX of those losses coming to ranked teams.

Wild pitch scores 1 and walk 2 for the winning run. Incredibly tough loss to swallow for the kids, I'm sure, but at least tomorrow's game is a 4:00 start which gives the a little more time to get it out of their heads. Need another strong start I would guess.

I can accept it. I was temporarily insane. I accept any and all criticism. As a 4 decade alum and season ticket holder in multiple sports consider me your crazy uncle who enjoys happy hour on Fridays after work. RUTeelRice is a particularly despised poster on TOS, who I will respond to when I feel like it. The rest of you I consider friendly RU fans , and if you don't want to be friendly back, that's up to you and I can accept that as well, I won't lose any sleep.

We just took 1 of 3 from the nation's 16th ranked team, could have swept them, then 1 of 2 from Florida Gulf Coast. Team is actually looking quite a bit better than last year.
