That's wild considering MD lost to Columbia 18-19, as Columbia lost to Michigan 9-28, Indiana 21-23, Lock Haven 15-25 and Binghamton 16-25.

This is exactly what happened at Midlands. Bullock stalled the entire time, did not get hit for stalling even once, and Yara got caught trying to be aggressive and win the match at the end. Same effing thing here.

Something is going on with him. No idea what it is but he is not the same wrestler. He was always super aggressive and he is very passive now to way he used to wrestle. He would ride a lot harder. Something is wrong. No idea if mental or physical but this has been all season long.
I do agree Sunday will be much, much tougher... Very best case is 5 wins... But could legit get shut out if we don't wrestle well...

I agree. It could be a couple of things. Sometimes when wrestlers exceed their expectations and win titles like big 10 champion and NCAA, All American they don't get really motivated anymore. Ha! Believe me I know this all too well. Or he could very well be hurt and i s being a warrior and grinding it out for the team. If that's the case, I would rather see him sit. I remember a guy named mark reiland from iowa. A couple years.
younger than me ( maybe 4, 5 or 6, don't know) Guy came out
and pounded everybody and even pinning Kevin Randleman. The following year he looked lethargic uninterested and it showed come Big 10s. He actually didn't even qualify for nationals. You have to be a very special certain type to live and breathe the sport. There are very few Jack Cuvo, Lincoln MclRavy, Steiner and Brands brothers types.
This. When I pointed this out earlier in the year ppl got mad n kept coming up w excuses.. well maybe he was under extra pressure.. maybe if he had won extra flurry.. maybe this n that.. that’s not the point.. he’s not wrestling w the same hunger in his belly from last season..
