Wow nickal has some heavy duty cauliflower ears. I was at a youth tourn years ago and there was a team from Colorado that didn't wear headgear, their kids already had cauliflower ears. The last day we asked one of their coaches why no headgear for the kids. He said - Sir in "Colorado cauliflower ear is a badge of honor!"

Guessing the rib injury. It hurts to breath with rib injuries & it can be tough to catch your breath because you can't take a deep breath. Gutty, really miraculous that he came back from it after B1G to AA.

Don't want to speculate because Abro1975 says it could be a knee, but he didn't seem hobbled to me when walking around. Gritty performance to stick it out. But he clearly couldn't do anything.
