Talent playing next year

She did leave Connecticut, after accepting a scholarship there and taking summer classes there for a short time leaving the Husky WBB program before playing a game to be close to her family especially her old sister, Lizzie who had Cerebral palsy.
The plan was for her to just play volleyball at Delaware when she left UConn.
But she did wind up playing basketball for the Blue Hens
Had a great RS freshman season for them, sophomore season was marred by illness .
Junior season led the nation in scoring
Senior season her Lyme disease returned in the early part of it, but she lead her team to a 27–3 regular season record finishing at 29-4 after 2 Tourney wins before losing.and averaged 26 points a game as a senior.

"for a short time" is an understatement..... Elena bolted in the middle of the night after just 2 days on campus.

Next year's players:

Tyler Scaife, G (injured):
2015-16 (17.2 ppg/ 2.9 rpg/ 2.6 apg): Second Team All-Big Ten
Kate Hill, G (injured): Struggled before injury this year, known as 3-pt threat
Kathleen Fitzpatrick, G (transfer, St. Joe's): As a junior, averaged 8.5 points per game, while leading St. Joseph's in three-pointers (57) and free throw percentage (.833).
Ciani Cryor, G (transfer, GT): As a freshman with the Yellow Jackets, averaged 5.7 points, 2.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game
Stasha Carey, F (transfer, Pitt): As sophomore for the Panthers, was the only player in the ACC to rank top-15 in rebounds, blocks and steals per game ... Averaged 9.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game
Jada Wright, F (HS): 6-2 out of Illinois, #86 ranked player in the country
Also Mael Gilles a 6'1" Guard from Montreal, Canada who is in the Canadian national developmental program and was on their 2014 under 17 team.

IMHO there is not one player on this years team that will be a starter next season.

I think Parker will start next year and possibly Harris. None of the transfers or freshmen are centers so she will probably need to start either Harris, Keeling or Wallace.

Only way I can see Parker starting is if we go with three guards, otherwise Parker will not start over Scaife

Definitely not over Scaife. I figured starting 5 would be Scaife, Parker, Harris, Cryor and either Carey, Williams or Aliah Jeune depending on which of the three is playing the best at the time. CVS likes to change it up a lot, so there could be quite a few possibilities. The only one I think is a definite every game is Scaife.

Too bad we don't have another big lady coming in .. we need a true C badly. Love our girls to death but none of the inside/tall girls we have right now is going to help us get B1G wins

IMO EDD transfer was 90%+ due to her super close relationship her sister. I believe her sister never left her mind until she quickly left UCONN. I remember tearing up when they showed a clip of her (also very big) sister jumping onto her and EDD holding her up during an emotional hug. That is what life is all about. Love!
She recently requested and received a trade from WNBA's Chicago Sky to the Washington Mystics (which also sent Kahleah to Chicago) in order to be closer to her family.
