Wisconsin: always seem to be better than they should be

To relate a story for you guys from before you joined the conference - I went to the Big Ten Tournament in the early 2000s in Chicago. In between games, they were filling time by showing short segments on the video board. They'd show a picture of a player and then play a short segment about him. For the first several videos there was typically some scattered polite applause. Then the Michigan player pops up on the screen and everyone starts booing! 🤣 Felt bad for the kid because it wasn't about him, just that Michigan logo.
