its really disappointing that this area hasnt hosted lately for the first rounds and not in the future.
I think next year the regional finals are at MSG but it would be nice to get these first round games in Philly or Newark
Tons of people. Rabid bball fans,. Great arenas. Its freaking stupid crazy that this area is not somehow involved in the tourney locations each and every year .
Its automatic excitement, tickets sold, and everything you'd want .
If they choose Nevada due to $ as suggested by a respected poster...they can go to hell.
Ps, anybody notice those short stiff nets ? They look 4 inches short and overly stiff. Curling up at the bottom. Not a good looking net lol.

Nevada was in position. Its a disappointing season for them after last years run.. didn't seem to have the same hunger and were the 2nd best team in their league
Two ncaa tournament appearances and a sweet 16. They would have been worth every penny
Don't think their ROI would have been the same in the B1G.
And honestly . if this is really NBA farm league then send me back to eastern 8. College athletics as once known is dead.
1 of the 3 (Prudential, MSG or Barclays Center) should host at least 2 out of every 3 years. The Barclays Center 1st and 2nd Rounds in 2016 were such a success the arena is getting the S16 and E8 next time, but not until 2021. MSG is hosting S16 & E8 in 2020. So we will have some good post season college ball locally to attend.
I assume the atmosphere in and around the arenas during the 1st and 2nd Rounds is better than the Regionals, but I’ve never experienced them.
Real interested in seeing Purdue play. If Carson Edwards can find his stroke and make good decisions they could be dangerous,
Its a shame. Years ago the Byrne arena, iPod center was a major host to regionals. (Tate George and Christian Latener sp shots! )
NJ not NY was the college ncaa site...even the ROC recently.
I wonder if any other regional ever had two buzzer beaters. That was some weekend with George and laettner.
Saw them. Lucky enough to have been to every regional there and had final 4 tix when RU hosted bit didn't go. That was a good building .
And just like that Powell for another 5 to take the lead. Looks like Corey at the garden last year.
