I was never comfortable that Rutgers would win.Every time Rutgers got a double digit lead Minnesota would make a couple 3 pointers to narrow the lead.All season long against league rivals Rutgers has experienced great difficulty sustaining and expanding leads.The end result has been so many games decided by five or less points.In this game Rutgers had a eight point lead with a minute remaining .Minnesota won because they made three pointers while Rutgers committed turnovers, missed foul shots and put no pressure on the last play in bound pass.Such a woeful performance at crunch time with experienced players on the court.Rutgers has been a over achieving team with minimal talent on offense.In hindsight a 10-9 B1G Ten record should have been expected or maybe even worse.
