Some of you may remember the name as Paris Shand was one of the top recruits that Schiano was pushing for immediately after he returned to the banks in December 2019. Shand took official visits to both Arizona and Rutgers in late January right before the second signing period and chose the Wildcats in the end.

Now he's back on the market and Rutgers hosted him this past weekend. He was sitting front of the roped off part of the student section along with Marquise Watson, Greg Schiano and fellow Canada native Wesley Bailey.

So far Shand has earned offers from the likes of Ole Miss, Syracuse and Rutgers so far.

I know that we are probably limited by not having an OC, but how are we not offering any WR's in the portal? We have just 4 WR's on the roster right now and I don't think there are any freshman ready to play in Year 1, but I hope I am wrong.

Who would be WR1 and WR2 as things stand right now?

They basically say that the rankings don't measure anything useful and give law schools perverse incentives. I wonder whether other law schools will do the same, and whether the trend carries over to undergraduate and other U.S. news rankings. This affects Rutgers which, at least as an undergraduate school, is to my mind short-changed by the ratings. (I can't be objective about the law school and so I won't comment on whether that's true there too.) I guess everyone is so tired from the OSU debacle that no one even can post how we got screwed again by a missed out of bounds call. This has to be changed and be a reviewable call.
The problem is not only did they miss that one but it also happened in the first half when a Seton Hall player was out of bounds and came back in and got the rebound only problem was he was the first one to touch the ball again cost us 2 points there

That was the least amount of SHU fans I’ve ever seen at the RAC (dating back to when I was a student from 2007-2011).

Honestly felt like there was 100 of them.

Unfortunately we couldn’t take care of business, but was happy I didn’t have to deal with a bunch of dorky fans on the way out.

Just got done chatting with 2023 DT target Vincent Jackson-Carroll who committed to Syracuse on his official visit this past weekend. It appears that he won't make the trip to Rutgers next weekend and isn't 100% sure or not if he will sign during the early period at this time. Expect him to end up elsewhere, whether that be Syracuse or somewhere else.

In regards to the transfer visits, it was a bit of different visit schedule this weekend as they ran through Sunday until this morning, as Schiano and crew took the guys to the SHU game last night. Should hear some more news soon, but hearing the visits went well.

-- TE Joey Beljan had a solid time as well, however it sounds like he will make another visit or two before deciding

Also being told along with Abram Wright, both Famah Toure and Bo Mascoe made unofficial visits to campus this weekend. You probably saw Schiano chatting it up with Mascoe quite a bit in the first row of last night's RU/SHU game.

Now that RU's season is thankfully over, time to root for my second favorite team.

4-7 Navy meets 5-6 Army at 3 p.m. on Saturday. The records don't matter in this one. The Midshipmen "bombed" West Point this week. Dropped leaflets and ping pong balls from three Pipers.

Gotta love the triple option. Navy beat ranked UCF last game and attempted one pass.

I’ve seen plenty of poor offensive performances….nothing like last night.

That’s the best defense we’ve ever seen by an opponent.

We were contested the second we crossed center court and could not get open looks for almost the entire 40 minutes.

Checked in with some sources late last night and confirmed Dylan Harper was on campus once again, second time over the past two home games. Continuing to hear Rutgers is in a very good spot here to land Harper.

I don't now and never felt that Seton Hall was awful. When they get the big guy back,they could be .500 in conference and will knock off a few decent teams in league making it a Quad 2 loss.Steve had a blueprint for Indiana and Sha may have put one on the table against Rutgers. I agree with Hawk that Simpson needs more minutes and Spencer fewer, especially against athletic guards. Rutgers will beat an Ohio State or Michigan,or both and then lose to Penn State or Nebraska.Still a 10 or so seed.

RU you kidding me? How is the best punter in America, The Ray Guy Award winner, not an All American? Adam Korsak royally hosed. $$$ or not really starting to despise how B1G treats us. First team, I kid you not is punter from Michigan State. 2nd team is punter from Iowa? How the heck??? Third team is a punter from Cincy. I know nothing about him. Just ridiculous. Who or where was B1G publicity machine. How do you tell this to Adam that the best punter in the land is not 1st, 2nd or 3rd team All American and behind two B1G players?? Ridiculous if not criminal.
