Andy Katz NCAA MBB Top 36

As a Rutgers guy I am well aware of our dismal past 30 years regarding MBB and our early OOC games which was considered a cupcake schedule.Now what pisses me off is to see we received absolutely no votes in his biased ranking system. Not make his top 36 is total nonsense. It is what it is so, the only alternative is to beat Illinois but I’m willing to wager he still would not list Rutgers even if we win the next 3 games.

While I agree we can't analyze how every voter votes. It will drive you crazy.

Pretty sure he wrote that before last night. He's been talking up RU on social media, even saying they are an NCAA team right now since that game.

The most recent ranking by Katz was 01/06/20 but not even in his 36 prior to us beating Penn State. If we do beat this good Illinois team I believe he still will somehow manage to ignore us in these rankings. Are they important? You bet they are... Rutgers needs to continue playing tough defense and things will take care of themselves... as Eric Foster said back in 2006 “ it’s our year , I love it.”
