Creme has dropped us to a 5 seed facing Mississippi St in Round 1 winner gets Arizona in Round 2. South Carolina is the 1 seed in this bracket.
Miss St is an interesting matchup since they are led by Rickea Jackson, a 6’2” sophomore who RU heavily recruited. She’s averaging 14.9 ppg. Miss St had a less than wonderful 10-9 record Which placed them 8th in the SEC. They average 72 ppg but give up 68. I would sign up for this today.

Based on our history, don't we figure to draw a Texas-based team in round 1 or 2 with a loud large fan turnout?

I'm not convinced that Creme is that accurate about match-ups. Some of his past issues have been due to geography issues that don't come into play this year, but historically he is much better at being fairly accurate as to seed line than he is as to actual match-ups. He is more accurate than the average fan, however.

And again, please, please do not have Rutgers and Arizona play each other. Obviously I am much more familiar with CVS, although I certainly like Adia Barnes, but I only met her once. However, I am much more familiar with the Arizona upperclassmen from attending games during their career (since I don't get the PAC network, and there were no fans, I did not see much of the newbies this year). Still, I saw more RU games on TV than I have in years.

Sometimes I am watching a game and say "can't they both lose" - in this case I would say "can't they both win"

Now that the East Coast is once again 3 hours ahead of AZ, do you know what time the women's selection show will be on in Tucson?

Thanks.

And now Charlie has dropped us to a 6 seed facing (what else but a Texas team) Stephen F Austin in San Antonio. 2nd round matchup would be against 3 seed Arizona.

At least that’s a 5 hour drive from SFA’s campus.

Because AZ is now on CA (PDT) time, the program is at 4 PM PDT since it is 7 PM EDT.
Let us hope for good news.
