The red hot Scarlet Knights , under the tutelage of Hall of Fame Coach C Vivian Stringer, finish up a tough road trip with another tough challenge at U Nebraska. RU is currently alone in first place in the Big 10 at 4-0, 12-3 overall. While Nebraska is 2-2 in conference, 7-8 overall, they have played a grueling schedule so far, and will be a very difficult opponent for the Figthin' Stringers who are completing a grueling road trip. Nebraska beat RU last year in the RAC.

Stasha Carey is only 13 points away from the milestone 1,000 points, so it is very possible she hits it today.

They need to check that 3pt shot by nebby there. Sure looked like toe on the line. Lets see if they even check.
 
Listening to Nebraska radio coverage. Praise for Cryor´s defense, calling her most under-rated player in B1G. Also saying RU hitting long threes that they never hit before against NU.
 
What a pleasure after years of RU stymied by zones, years of using up the whole shot clock with unproductive perimeter passing around every zone defense, a total pleasure watching them handle the 1-3-1 perfectly. And it's not just the 3s; it's also passing and fast breaks off turnovers.

How many more free throws is Nebraska gonna make !! I can’t remember the last Nebraska possession without a foul. At this point they should just drive inside every time down the court. Refs either know about this descrepency or they don’t. Cviv needs to lose her mind! If not for the foul shots we’d be blowing them out

I'm watching this game now and I have always commented at how bad the officiating is in women's college BB. But watching today, really reminds me of just how bad it really is. Right now there is a 16-6 foul discrepancy and it is beyond farcical. These officials penalize good defense when it's played straight up. You cannot call a foul when you're straight up and the opponent jumps into you. It's either a no call or an offensive foul.

Also, one of our Bigs (I think it was Jenkins) went up for a layup and got hammered by two defenders. One in the front on her arm and one on the back with the body and the official is standing right there under the basket and swallows her whistle. I would like to see some of these officials under scrutiny from the league, where if they continue to blatantly refuse to call obvious fouls, they lose their opportunity to ref a game.

Come on C Viv. The ladies are too complacent in the static sets. We need to go into the 55 and pressure the crap out of them and get them out of sync. Right now Nebraska looks too comfortable and are only down 3 now with 8 minutes to go. Let's go!

Agree. They are big and tough but not very athletic. 55 might rattle them.
 
Nebraska is only in this game because of free throws. Have to just survive and get out of here and hope we never get these 3 refs again. The big ten hates us even in sports that we’re good. Protect the top dogs except when it’s Rutgers.

These officials suck! Where was the foul official?
 
Bad turnover after called play. NU with a chance to tie. RU fouled shooter. Both FTs missed.
 
Rutgers long road trip is showing in the 4th, they look tired, turning the ball over a lot, all tied at 52. RU just looks worn out. Not sure they can finish this out.
 
Wow, the officials actually called an illegal screen against them when they've been doing that all freakin' game.
 
Another turnover by SK (steal) and Knights foul. NU play-by-play guy says RU has trouble closing out games.
 
RU is sooooo tired now, their tongues are hanging out and they can't even step towards a rebound. The Road. It's a big factor.
 
52-52 5:47 left in 4Q. RU misses again. Another chance for NU to take lead missed. Another RU turnover.

Settle down, team. Keep up the defense, don´t foul, wait for your shot. RU with only 16 points in the half.
 
The big ten was never going to let Rutgers win this game. The officials have decided it already. It’s no use
 
Viv should put in the 2nd team just to get fresh legs. Starters are going to collapse from exhaustion
