Did anyone go to this? Two day tournament at RU pitting sections of the state (county groupings) against each other. Cool concept and appears to be in year 2 after taking some time off. Broken down into two levels, upper and underclassmen.

TBH i don't know the history but I suppose its possible. The competition is statewide and the tournament is at RU so I figured there may be some opinions or knowledge on it. My son may tryout next summer now that Im aware of it and one of his older teammates had a great experience in it last week.

The Garden State Games were a regional select tournament for lacrosse and I think other sports. You had to try out for it and played in a festival style - like a regional all-star games. Think it was limited to upper classmen/women.

Was patterned after the Empire State Games, which also included lacrosse. Nice to see it return.
Been a good experience. I've had quite a few players participate.
Talent level not even close to what it used to be in the past. Will take a few years to get ramped back up.
