You told me that the Ridge coach might be a better defensive coach than Phil Colicchio of Linden. I tend to disagree. Ridge lost on their home court to East Orange on Thursday 65-58. Linden just beat East Orange tonight at Linden 67-35. I rest my case.

Just to be clear, OF COURSE talent matter when playing D. Greene has just been saying the exact opposite for years here when discussing RU's defensive woes. I was just busting his chops.
 
All I know is that Ridge has the big kid in the middle who is 6'8" or 6'10". He scored 30 for Ridge the other night and I think is going to Boston University.. Linden's tallest starter is 6'4" tall. They don't have any D-1 talent except probably the soph, Tavon Jones. He has already been offered by St. Joe's. He is I think about 6'2" tall and can really take it to the basket as well as hit 3's. He had 6 threes in one game in the state tourney and had 5 in a game vs. Roselle Catholic. He is going to be a real future star. He should be on our radar. The Star Ledger featured him as a player to watch in the state tournament.
GRF, I am glad you will be rooting for Linden. I think tomorrow night will be a tough game with Newark East Side. They have won Group III several times and been in the TOC.
